Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position based in Plymouth, MI, for a Quality Operations Manager. The role involves overseeing day-to-day quality operations, ensuring compliance with quality standards and processes, and managing quality control initiatives. The Manager of Quality Assurance is responsible for overseeing the Quality Department to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards and company quality objectives. This role manages quality staff, supports manufacturing operations, and drives continuous improvement initiatives. Key responsibilities include maintaining quality systems, leading audits, supporting new product introductions, managing corrective actions, and monitoring supplier performance. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
- Manage the quality department, directing the work of quality technicians to satisfy the quality requirements for the current business and future business improvement.
- Develop and execute annual quality goals and objectives that align with overall company goals and long-range strategy plans.

- Work with Mfg. Engineering and Maintenance; develop and guide documented evidence of machine and process capability.
- Develop training and education for the business in key aspects of quality, including the quality department and new hires.
- Lead Receiving Inspection and assist in driving the Supplier Quality Program to improve overall Supplier performance.
- Provide management with measurements of our product, process and customer/supplier quality and recommendations for both remedial as well as preventive measures to be taken with alternatives, costs, resources, timing and risk and benefit analysis.
- As part of business planning, lead the development of quality plans and improvement plans that have a positive impact on the overall cost of quality.
- Manage resources, including budgets, expense recommendations and capital appropriations to ensure effectiveness of the quality system and improve overall gross margins.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- A bachelor's degree in quality or an engineering discipline.
- 10 years of pertinent experience in a manufacturing-based business.

Job Description:
- Inspecting output samples using industry-appropriate methods, such as comparing to standards, measuring dimensions and examining functionality.

Quality Control Inspector III/ CMM Programmer
Overview:
The Quality Control Inspector/Programmer is responsible for visual and dimensional inspections on manufactured parts, assemblies, and/or sub-assemblies. This role inspects parts to engineering drawings, customer purchase order(s), work orders, industry standards, and specifications. The inspector may report detailed inspection accept / reject information directly to the customer with shipments.
Minimum Required Qualifications :
- Technical school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience with Mechanical / Electronic part inspection in a manufacturing or production Environment.
- Experience in quality with machined / mechanical parts using GD&T interpretation, able to do programs for automatic inspection with Optical Vision Systems and CMMs. plus. Able to use Profilometers and special Microscopes for visual characteristics with other measuring tools and instruments.
- Knowledgeable with AS9102 FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) documentation and Inspection.
- Familiar with AQL, sampling methods and traceability.

- This job interacts both in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines, as well as environments inclusive of the appropriate eye, hearing and foot protection (as required).
- This is a full-time position. Overtime and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Travel is rare but may be required to coordinate proper CMM inspection techniques with Suppliers.

Pay Range: $30.50 - $38.00/hour

Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Quality Program Manager to lead complex, multi-site programs with significant business impact. This role requires strong expertise in program management, quality systems, and regulatory compliance within a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities:
Program Management:
- Lead and manage multi-site or high-complexity programs spanning 2–3 years
- Oversee programs with significant financial impact (up to €10M or more)
- Enhance and innovate program and portfolio management capabilities
Strategic Leadership:
- Provide direction for major functional areas by analyzing complex and ambiguous challenges
- Identify root causes and develop strategic solutions
Risk Management:
- Promote balanced risk-taking while maintaining program health
- Apply risk management frameworks such as ISO 14971
Quality & Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to quality systems and regulatory standards, including:
- Quality Management Systems (QMS)

- Process and production controls
- Warehousing and distribution practices
Stakeholder Engagement:

- Mentor and coach team members on best practices
Operational Execution:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business Administration
- 5–10 years of overall professional experience
- 5+ years of program management experience with a proven track record
- Certification in Project/Program Management (PMI, PMBOK, SAFe, or equivalent)
Required Knowledge & Experience:
- Strong understanding of medical device regulations:
- ISO 13485
- FDA 21 CFR Part 820
- Knowledge of:
- Good Documentation Practices (GDP)
- Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting program managers in complex program environments
