Responsibilities
- Provide on-site pediatric radiology coverage during assigned shifts, including scheduled call coverage for pediatric imaging
- Interpret pediatric imaging studies: X-ray, ultrasound, STAT CT, and MRI; perform on-site fluoroscopy as needed
- Communicate urgent and critical findings promptly to referring clinicians, surgeons, and the multidisciplinary pediatric care team
- Collaborate with pediatric clinicians, surgeons, and technologists to support high-quality patient care and pediatric safety
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to departmental protocols, quality metrics, and patient safety standards

- Manage a patient mix of 15% inpatient and 85% outpatient
- Handle weekend call typically once per month and weekday call 1 in 5
- Perform a variety of outpatient procedures, surgical or endoscopic
- Manage obstetric cases, including labor epidurals and c/s with spinal
- Perform general surgery, urology, ENT, orthopedic, and endoscopic procedures
- Nerve block experience is helpful
