Responsibilities

- Document all care accurately in Epic EMR and follow institutional policies
- Maintain patient safety and quality standards in a fast-paced Level IV trauma environment
- Participate in preoperative assessment, intraoperative management, and postoperative handoffs consistent with best practices in anesthesia and perioperative nursing

- Perform renal and bladder ultrasound evaluations and biopsies as indicated
- Document patient encounters and procedures accurately in the electronic health record per facility standards
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes and continuity of care during the 2-weeks-on/2-weeks-off rotation

We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for a 96-day assignment in Michigan, starting May 4, 2026. This role involves sitting cases with no pre or post-operative care, and offers shifts from 7:00am to 3:00pm or 5:00pm. The successful candidate will handle a variety of cases, excluding dedicated Pediatrics, Blocks, and Cardiac teams, and must be proficient in or willing to perform virtual cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Sit cases, with pre and post-operative care handled by the MDA.
- Avoid dedicated Pediatrics, Blocks, and Cardiac cases, with the option to perform Pediatrics if desired.
- Perform virtual cases, including NORA, GI Lab, MRI, Cath Lab, and Radiology.
- Manage a diverse caseload including General Surgery, Orthopedics, and Robotics. Trauma and Neuro cases are rare and optional.
