Job Summary:

The Learning Experience Specialist for TAG University is part of the Learning Delivery & Experience team and responsible for organizing and coordinating the delivery of learning programs, both live and virtual, to ensure the learner experience is outstanding and impactful from beginning to end.


Learning Experience Specialists provide support to the greater L&D team through a shared service operating model, flexing between programs, functions, and audiences. They operate in a fast-paced environment, where there is an opportunity to have an impact every single day.


This role will partner closely with Facilitators, Program Managers, and key business partners to execute support for all learning programs. The Learning Experience Specialist will need to have a solid understanding of program goals and objectives, as well as learners’ and facilitators’ needs.


This person is action oriented, motivated to help others, and able to collaborate and maintain a strong network of partnerships. They must be exceptionally well organized, have strong problem-solving and execution skills, able to manage ambiguity, and operate with a customer service mindset. This role will report to the Director of Learning Delivery and Experience and is based in our world-class learning facility in Chicago, IL.


Essential Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute end-to-end learning events—in-person and virtual—ensuring a seamless, outstanding learner experience from pre-event preparation through program close.
  • Serve as the primary learner-facing presence throughout in-person programs, creating a welcoming environment and delivering attentive support that prioritizes participant accessibility and engagement.
  • Prepare event logistics, including printed materials, swag, room configurations, and program-specific setup, ensuring every detail is thoughtfully anticipated and flawlessly executed.
  • Act as the on-site hub for day-of operations, managing learner check-in, campus navigation as needed (and in partnership with the Manager, TAG U Campuses), accessibility needs, and real-time issue resolution while serving as the key liaison among facilitators, IT, Facilities, catering, and campus leadership throughout live programs.
  • Serve as an internal consultant to the L&D team, generating innovative ideas that continuously elevate program quality, cultivate community, and meet or exceed experience standards.
  • Proactively surface learner experience gaps and friction points, escalating trends to the Manager, TAG U Campuses as needed.
  • Cultivate and maintain cross-functional partnerships with Events, Facilities, IT, and key business partners to co-create and deliver cohesive, exceptional learning experiences.
  • Partner with the Manager, TAG U Campuses before, during, and after learning events to ensure all spaces are on-brand, fully prepared, and reset between sessions to consistently uphold learner experience standards.
  • Support and operate learning technology for in-person and virtual sessions; train and coach L&D team members and business partners on relevant platforms to ensure consistent, capable delivery.
  • Maintain accurate learning records in the Learning Management System, including completion tracking and CE credit submission.
  • Flex into expanded coordination and learner support responsibilities during high-volume periods, and contribute to change management efforts by providing program coordination as needed.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience is required.

Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA)Learning Experience Designer actively engages in the review, design, development, and implementation of learning products (e.g., academic programs and courses, short courses, micro-credentials), working closely with strategic partners and vendors; this includes the quality review of new learning content, as well as the search for suitable existing learning content within Covista's owned content repositories and learning content management systems.

The QA Learning Experience Designer has a working knowledge of digital learning product design and development theories, processes, best practices, and trends, integrating that knowledge to enhance the student learning experience by leveraging contemporary learning design principles, applying flexible approaches, and driving strategic innovation to anticipate, meet, and exceed partner needs.

TheQA Learning Experience Designer manages multiple reviews during different stages of development, each with varying requirements and milestones. The QA Learning Experience Designer works with a range of internal and external academic experts, product development staff, vendors, and institutional representatives to ensure adherence to quality standards,product design decisions, business requirements, and academic expectations.

  • Ensures the learning content developed for online/hybrid course delivery is of the highest quality possible and supports student mastery of learning outcomes.

Qualifications

Additional Information

In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $108,334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility. Introduction

The IBM Consulting Learning and Knowledge (L&K) Americas Lead will be accountable for overall skills growth for our client-facing Consulting staff in the Americas and local execution of the global L&K strategy. Your role and responsibilities
  • Engage Geography stakeholders (Geo General Manager, Operations Leader, Market Leaders Service Line leaders, etc.) as well as peers from within the Geo Talent Supply Chain (HR, Workforce Management, Talent Acquisition) as the "primary face of L&K" to the Geography.

  • Team with other L&K roles (Portfolio Leads, Lead Learning Strategists, Delivery Leads, Shared Services Learning Consultants) in our organizational matrix to ensure coordination and alignment.

  • Manage the L&K Geography budget, securing initial requirements in the Fall Plan, engaging with Geography leadership and Finance to agree a committed budget, manage budget changes through quarters and ensure the overall program stays within the annual/quarterly budget envelopes - all requiring close coordination with business operations leads as well as the various L&K Portfolio and Shared Services teams.

  • Lead the L&K team in the Geography, including L&K Geo Operations/Finance and L&K Market Leaders. They will also serve as in-country managers for Faculty and Event Management support resources who are in the Shared Service teams.

  • Oversee annual and quarterly education requirements capture and prioritization, working closely with L&K Portfolio and L&K Shared Services teams.

  • Ensure quality education delivery that meets the prioritized Geography requirements and fits within the budget envelope. This will requirement close collaboration with L&K Portfolio and L&K Shared Services teams, who will be responsible for staffing and delivering the education programs.

Required technical and professional expertise
