Overview

We are seeking a Head of Engineering & Platforms to lead and scale the engineering organization that powers digital products and platforms across North America. This leadership role will define the engineering vision, build high-performing teams, and establish modern platform architecture to support scalable, secure, and high-performing digital experiences.

Description

• Define and execute the engineering vision, technical strategy, and platform roadmap.
• Build and scale a product-led engineering organization (100+ engineers).
• Lead engineering teams across platform, full-stack, mobile, and data development.
• Implement modern engineering practices including CI/CD, DevOps, automation, and observability.

Requirements

• 15+ years of engineering experience, including leadership roles.

• Experience working with product operating models and cross-functional teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Job Title: Senior Director – Electrical Engineering

Role Summary

The Senior Director of Electrical Engineering provides strategic, technical, and people leadership across low- and medium-voltage electrical engineering. This role owns engineering standards, design quality, technical risk management, and capability development, while scaling teams and processes to support growth, speed, and margin improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy & Leadership

• Set and execute the electrical engineering strategy aligned with business growth, ISO 9001, and product roadmap

Technical Excellence

• Own engineering standards, design practices, and technical governance for LV and MV systems

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and certification processes

Job Description

The Design Manager position at Engineered Facades reports directly to the Director of Design and Engineering. The Design Manager coordinates and exercises functional planning, organization, control, integration and completion of engineering projects within the area of assigned responsibility.

• Manages the draftsmen and schedules their work.
• Reviews design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and contractual requirements, and related specifications.

Position Summary

Sterling is seeking a highly skilled Engineering Technician with strong machining, fabrication, and design experience to join our team. This role will support engineering and production initiatives by designing, fabricating, and modifying components, fixtures, and tooling in a machine shop environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with extensive hands-on experience in tool and die making, manual machining, and fabrication, capable of working independently while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and quality.

This role will initially be hired as an Engineering Technician III, with the opportunity for promotion to Engineering Technician IV upon transition to a core employee.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, fabricate, and modify tools, fixtures, and custom components to support engineering and production operations.
• Operate and maintain manual machining equipment, including manual lathes, manual mills, and other machine shop tools.

This individual will collaborate closely with other Lab Leads, Engineering staff, and Technicians to ensure the Engineering Labs adhere to established company policies and provide hardware development support to program teams.

This position works closely with all levels of leadership in multiple organizations as well as managing lab utilization across various projects. Job Summary

• Perform set-up, operation, and troubleshooting of SMT equipment including pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, screen printers, and automated optical inspection (AOI) systems.
• Monitor SMT production processes to identify and resolve issues related to component placement, solder paste application, and reflow profiles.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and calibration on SMT machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
• Assist engineers in the development and implementation of new SMT processes, equipment, and materials.
• Interpret and analyze SMT process data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and areas for improvement.
• Provide technical support to production operators, offering guidance on best practices and troubleshooting techniques.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies, to enhance SMT line efficiency and product quality.

• Strong understanding of SMT processes, including solder paste deposition, component placement, reflow soldering, and AOI.
• Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting various SMT equipment (e.g., Fuji, MyData, Universal, MPM, DEK, Koh Young, Mirtec).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and process specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with engineers and production teams.
