Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in line with the requirements of the department and the standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will provide personalized, comprehensive, and compassionate care, following established nursing models such as "Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage." What you will do in this role:
- Assess the patient's condition during admission and each scheduled shift, promptly identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
- Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider(s), and ensure thorough and timely documentation of care administration in the patient's medical record. - Administer prescribed medications, monitor the patient for therapeutic response, and take appropriate action in the event of an unintended response to the medication.
- Provide exceptional care by responding promptly to patient requests, proactively anticipating patient needs, and resolving them.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers about the patient's medical condition, treatment plan, medications, possible side effects, and follow-up measures, ensuring complete understanding by translating complex medical terminology.

Job Summary and QualificationsAs the PICU Clinical Coordinator you will collaborate with all other healthcare disciplines to achieve successful execution of the patient’s plan-of-care and goals of the department. You will serves as a professional role-model and interfaces directly with patients, families, physicians and staff. You will utilizes physical assessment skills and advanced diagnostic technology to aid in the assessment of the patient’s nursing care needs. You will continues to monitor and assess the patient’s physical condition, emotional and social needs, continually refining the plan-of-care to ensure achievement of the desired goals of the patient and facility outcomes.
You will develop/approve unit schedules according to staffing guidelines.
You coordinate employees’ attendance at scheduled/required education programs
You will interpret hospital and personnel policies to physician, nursing staff, patients, visitors and other hospital personnel.
You complete patient and employee incident reports and related paperwork within 24 hours of incident.
You will coordinate unit functions with other hospital departments.
You will maintain complete staff/patient assignment records 100% of the time.
Assign staff according to staff abilities and skills and the patient’s acuity.

What qualifications you will need:EDUCATION REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERRED:

Job Summary and QualificationsTo provide professional nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process. To collaborate with other members of the health care delivery team including physicians, to deliver quality health care.
