Position Overview
The Social Media Coordinator supports the day-to-day execution of the companyβs social media presence across all platforms. This role is responsible for daily posting, community engagement, organizing user-generated content (UGC), and assisting with light iPhone-based content capture and editing. Position Summary:
MUST HAVE SWEATER DESIGN/PD EXPERIENCE.
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Designer to support our Karl Lagerfeld Paris team, with a strong specialization in sweater design and yarn sourcing and development. This role will research trends, create cohesive collections, develop innovative knitwear concepts, communicate design intent to factories, and support production and merchandising teams throughout the development process. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in knit construction, yarn development, and sweater commercialization, and is detail-oriented, organized, and able to translate creative concepts into commercially viable garments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research current trends and forecast evolution within brand identity
- Lead the design and development of sweater and knit categories, including silhouette development, stitch innovation, gauge selection, and construction techniques
- Partner with sourcing teams and mills to develop and source yarns aligned with seasonal concepts, cost targets, and performance requirements
- Apply findings from trend research (blogs, magazines, stores, street-style, vintage exploration) to create cohesive, seasonally relevant collections
- Communicate seasonal concept and knitwear design intent to factories and request preliminary treatments, stitch layouts, and mock-ups
- Generate tech-packs with detailed knit specifications including stitch construction, gauge, yarn composition, trims, and finishing details for overseas factories
- Evaluate knit prototypes, provide detailed fit and construction feedback, and communicate adjustments through photographs, spec notes, and diagram sketches
- Collaborate with overseas vendors on yarn development, wash techniques, hand-feel, and costing to achieve design and margin goals
- Refabricate and sketch to support seasonal objectives within line plan and SKU count
- Amplify visual cues to reinforce concept and translate garments to runway program with stylist
- Support the collection through production, ensuring correct development, yarn allocation, and color execution for each garment
- Assist Merchandising Team and VP of Design with seasonal introductions

Role and Purpose:
The Vice President Creative Marketing will work closely with the SVP Brand Creative & Marketing to creative manage projects from concept to completion. You will partner to develop and transform ideas into creative solutions managing the team day to day to ensure objectives are achieved.
The role will direct and manage a team of 11 across art direction, ecommerce photography stills studio, editorial voice and copy. Role & Purpose
As the Vice President of Marketing & Creative Operations and Production at Madewell, you will be a key leader in driving the operational excellence of our processes, enabling best in class execution across teams and act as point person and liaison for the Marketing and Creative team for internal and external partners. How You'll Contribute:
The Design Engineer (DE) is a contributing member of the core project team for Faith & Performance projects. The DE supports projects through the lifecycle from sales concept and design development to construction drawings and implementation support. Working under the guidance of a Senior Design Engineer or Project Engineering leadership, the DE assists in translating client needs and system requirements into coordinated technical designs and documentation.
The DE collaborates with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed and is responsible for producing accurate drawings, layouts, and supporting documentation in accordance with project standards. The DE contributes to equipment selection and bill of materials development, subject to review and approval by senior engineering staff.
What You'll Do:
- Contributor for complex engagements and works directly with Account Executives, clients, project teams and other DE's to develop specifications, designs, budgets, timelines and manage expectations.
- Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements. Provide technical expertise and coordination information to support the architecture, installation and planning of live performance solutions (concert audio, cinematic multi-cam, theatrical stage lighting, house lighting, production IT, intercom, etc).
- Develop Faith and Performance project estimates, Bill of Materials (BOM), Bid Response submissions, and project agreements in partnership with the Sales Engineer and Proposal Manager
- Create Sketchup Models that assist in communicating concepts to the client in the early steps of the sales engagement, as well as being used as the basis for other design deliverables through manufacturers such as loudspeaker systems, camera plots, and house lighting designs
- DE may have client interaction and contribute to the P and L performance.
- Project lifecycle is important and learning the standards our clients are comfortable with is just as important as selling new technology and solutions where they fit. The position bears the responsibility to assist in developing long lasting client partnerships alongside the Sales Engineers & work with team members to maintain the account on all levels.
