Key Responsibilities:

  • Research current trends and forecast evolution within brand identity

The Design Engineer (DE) is a contributing member of the core project team for Faith & Performance projects. The DE supports projects through the lifecycle from sales concept and design development to construction drawings and implementation support. Working under the guidance of a Senior Design Engineer or Project Engineering leadership, the DE assists in translating client needs and system requirements into coordinated technical designs and documentation.

  • Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements.   • Create Sketchup Models that assist in communicating concepts to the client in the early steps of the sales engagement, as well as being used as the basis for other design deliverables through manufacturers such as loudspeaker systems, camera plots, and house lighting designs

  • DE may have client interaction and contribute to the P and L performance.

  • Project lifecycle is important and learning the standards our clients are comfortable with is just as important as selling new technology and solutions where they fit. The position bears the responsibility to assist in developing long lasting client partnerships alongside the Sales Engineers & work with team members to maintain the account on all levels.

Vice President, Handbag Design & Merchandising

β€’ Lead the creative, strategic, and commercial direction of the Handbag division, overseeing design strategy, merchandising, line architecture, and execution for multiple brands.

β€’ Drive category elevation and growth across licensed and private-label handbag programs while identifying new markets and licensing opportunities.

β€’ Provide senior leadership to the handbag design and merchandising team; collaborate closely with Sales, Licensing, Sourcing, Planning, and Finance.

β€’ 10+ years leadership experience in handbag/accessories design and merchandising; strong technical expertise in construction, materials, and costing; experience in private-label, licensing, or vertically integrated environments; strong commercial acumen.

β€’ Periodic domestic travel for market appointments, vendor meetings, and innovation research.
