Project Manager

Come join one of Chicago's premier real estate developers! This is an owner-side opportunity with a highly respected, vertically integrated real estate developer who has delivered over a billion dollars in new projects.

The construction project manager oversees, coordinates, and manages all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. This role ensures projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards. The ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge with leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams, schedules, and client expectations.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and oversee all phases of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and execution.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, and work timetables.
• Monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and company policies.
• Lead regular site meetings to review progress, address issues, and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Manage change orders, client communications, and project documentation.
• Oversee quality control and safety performance on-site.
• Conduct project closeout activities including punch list completion and final inspections.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

5+ years of experience in construction project management, preferably in commercial or residential projects.

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams simultaneously.

Strong understanding of project scheduling software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera P6).

Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
