Job Title: Sr Human Factors Design Engineer – Medical Device

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Onsite)

• Human Factors Validation (Study Design, Protocols, Reporting)

• Use-Related Risk Analysis (URRA)

• Usability Testing (Generative, Formative, Summative)

• Critical Task Identification & Risk Traceability

• Root Cause Analysis for Use Errors.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop and update human factors documentation (URRA, Use Specifications)

• Design and execute usability validation studies based on critical tasks

• Conduct user testing and analyze usability data

• Prepare study reports and present findings

• Collaborate with design teams to improve user interaction and product safety.

Role Overview:

• Independently handle human factors engineering activities for medical devices

• Lead usability studies and ensure compliance with risk and validation standards

• Provide insights to enhance product design, safety, and user experience

• Mentor junior team members and contribute to project delivery.
