Job Description
Club Apple, a mature, market leading multi-purpose health club, now has an opening for a
seasoned Sales Director. This person should have a proven track record in sales/sales
management in the health club industry.
Major job responsibilities include:
* Hire and train sales staff (use of all current training systems/information requirements).
Terminate quickly when necessary.
* Complete sales staff/retention director wages, salaries and bonuses bi-weekly.
* Set, then meet or exceed, sales team sales goals — both team and individual sales staff. This includes personal training sales quotas.
* Perform daily reviews with each salesperson on staff. Perform bi-weekly sales training meetings to motivate, educate, and inform sales team of new promotions, procedures and sales tools.
* Implement and develop of compensation and incentive plans for both sales.
* Help develop and implement all marketing/promotional programs including new member trainings, member appreciation parties, and any other retention programs.
* Create new, understand existing club policies, and train sales staff on these procedures.
* Perform daily admin duties to include, but not limited to: insuring accuracy of new
agreements, forward all jot-forms for follow-up, track guest
registrations, track all lead sources, run all necessary KPI reports, and assure all marketing materials are updated and effective.
* Update sales training manual and maintain sole responsibility on any ongoing updates/revisions.
* Ensure each salesperson employs weekly outreach.
* Ensure each salesperson has a strong presence in the club and interacts with members on a daily basis. SBWA — Sales By Walking Around.
* Develop and place all press releases involving club activities and promotions.
* Develop new business sources in the community by having a presence and a plan for targeted community functions.
* Personally sell a minimum of 10 contracts per month.
* Consistently meet/exceed membership revenue, non-dues revenue and retention goals.
* Handle and resolve member issues and concerns regarding membership policies and procedures.
* Exhibit "over the top" customer service so as to produce raving loyalty from all members.
* Must be a strong team player and always do what is right for the company.
* Be willing to over-communicate all pertinent information to all department heads and staff.
* Lead by example and do whatever it takes to honestly and ethically produce projected club revenues. In addition, maintain the highest level of professional ethics and compliance when implementing all club rules, policies, and regulations.
* Any other duties, current and future, that may be deemed appropriate by the GM.

Summary:
Performs clinical testing in assigned section/s such as general laboratory, Blood Bank and Microbiology sections, with all duties necessary for accurate and timely results including quality control, performance improvement, proficiency testing, and preventative maintenance of equipment. Recognizes abnormal critical values and follows proper guidelines for notifying medical team members of results. Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
Associates Degree or higher in clinical laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution or equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the requirements defined in the CLIA regulation 42CFR493.1489:
Successfully completed an official U.S. military medical laboratory procedures training course of at least 50 weeks duration and currently hold the military enlisted occupational specialty of medical laboratory specialist (laboratory technician);
OR
60 semester hours or equivalent from an accredited institution that, at a minimum, includes either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses, OR 24 semester hours of science courses that include six semester hours of chemistry, six semester hours of biology, and 12 semester hours of chemistry, biology or medical laboratory technology in any combination;
AND
Laboratory training including either completion of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by the ABHES, NAACLS, or other organization approved by HHS (note that this training may be included in the 60 semester hours listed above), or at least three months documented laboratory training in each specialty in which the individual performs high complexity testing.
Experience
No experience required for graduates of a clinical laboratory training program approved or accredited by NAACLS, or other organizations approved by HHS.
OR
Six Months of approved clinical laboratory experience, which must include a clinical rotation through the following sections of the laboratory: Blood Banking, Microbiology, Chemistry, and Hematology, Immunology, and Urinalysis/Body Fluids in the U.S. or with an accredited laboratory within the last 5 years. (This meets the AMT MLT eligibility requirement).
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications

Summary:
All pharmacists fill orders for drugs, monitor patient drug therapies and provide drug information. Pharmacists provide pharmacy services with compassion, excellence and efficiency. In addition, level II pharmacists participate in management of patient pharmacotherapy and quality medication management within assigned service lines.
Responsibilities:

Operational Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepares and dispenses drug orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures and protocols.
- Interprets drug orders (verbal and written) and transcribes/verifies into computerized patient medication record accurately. Maintains, accurate, complete patient drug record.
- Compounds and dispenses pharmaceuticals including non-sterile and sterile products, chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products accurately.
- Issues controlled substances to patient care areas and maintains records as required by law and institutional policies.
- Provides services efficiently and in a timely fashion.
- Supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel. Verifies the daily activities of pharmacy technicians

- Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Monitors drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
- Assists with pharmacokinetics consult service and renal drug dosing per hospital protocol.
- Reads, extracts and interprets information in patient medical records accurately.
- Detects and reports suspected adverse drug reactions accurately and in a timely manner.
- Sustains the hospital drug formulary, minimizing non-formulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic substitution protocols and promoting rational drug therapy selection.

Responsibilities:

* Pharmacy Technicians perform ONLY non-judgmental technical duties under the direct supervision of a pharmacist.
Operational Duties and Responsibilities
* Assist Pharmacists with Medication Histories.
* Train Tech I associates.
* Prepares drug orders per physician request according to established policies, procedures and protocols.
* Verifies computerized patient medication records accurately.
Maintains, accurate, complete patient drug record.
* Compounds pharmaceuticals including non-sterile and sterile products, chemotherapy and parenteral nutrition products accurately.
* Issues controlled substances to patient care areas and maintains records as required by law and institutional policies.
* Provides services efficiently and in a timely fashion.
* Verifies the daily activities of the department are complete and recorded.
* Maintains competency required for current job title/position
* Maintains current technician license.
Ensures applicable CE records and licensure are maintained in department files.
Attends staff meetings.
* Maintain IV certification and competencies.
* Completes all competency/skills assessment requirements.
* Specialty area
* Serves as the technician in specialty areas such as the operating room, IV room, or pharmacy work areas outside the central pharmacy.
* Ambulatory care
* Provides ambulatory pharmaceutical care services as assigned such as but not limited to: anticoagulation clinics, intensive medical home, transition of care, Discharge Medication reconciliation, etc.
* Retail
* Performs outpatient distributive functions related to entering prescriptions orders, selecting the correct medications for new and refilled prescription orders, and coordinates delivery of medications for patient pick-up or delivery.
Clinical Duties and Responsibilities
* Ensures safe, appropriate, cost-effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
* Reads, extracts and interprets information in patient medical records accurately.
* Detects and reports suspected adverse drug reactions accurately and in a timely manner.
* Sustains the hospital drug formulary, minimizing non-formulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic substitution protocols and promoting rational drug therapy selection.
* Provides accurate, adequate and timely drug information to the hospital's pharmacy associates.
* Coordinates pharmacist drug education to patients and their families per institutional protocol.
* Participates in the quality improvement and medication use review activities of the department.
Collects data, conducts monitors and inspections and maintains logs, records and other documentation as assigned.
* Conducts designated interventions as defined in department Clinical Intervention activities (IV to PO, Renal Dosing, Pharmacokinetic dosing support, Anticoagulation)
* Baseline departmental standards for reporting interventions for clinical productivity as defined by departmental goals.
* Provides services efficiently and in a timely fashion Occupational Hazards

Job Requirements: Education/Skills
* High School Diploma or equivalent preferred Experience
* 3-5 years of pharmacy technician experience preferred
* Meet all criteria of Pharmacy Technician I Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
* Registered Pharmacy Technician in the state of practice required
* Certified Pharmacy Technician preferred
* ACPE accredited IV certification program, including hazardous (minimum 40 hours); or meet minimum State requirement.

Supervises and directs pharmacy support personnel.

Ambulatory care Pharmacist Provides ambulatory pharmaceutical care services utilizing approved protocols and/or collaborative agreement with other providers, including managing patient drug therapy, anticoagulation management, providing patient education, and preparing and/or overseeing the preparation and dispensing of medications.
Performs duties in the clinical areas assigned such as but not limited to: anticoagulation clinics, intensive medical home, transition of care, Discharge Medication reconciliation, etc.
Clinical Duties and Responsibilities Ensures safe, appropriate, cost effective drug therapies for patients according to established policies, procedures, and protocols.
Monitors drug therapy regimens for contraindications, drug-drug interactions, drug-food interactions, allergies and appropriateness of drug and dose.
Assists with pharmacokinetics consult service and renal drug dosing per hospital protocol.
Reads, extracts and interprets information in patient medical records accurately.
Detects and reports suspected adverse drug reactions accurately and in a timely manner.
Sustains the hospital drug formulary, minimizing non-formulary procurements, utilizing therapeutic substitution protocols and promoting rational drug therapy selection.
Provides clinical consultation and clarification to practitioners as appropriate.
Provides accurate, adequate and timely drug information to the hospital's professional staff.
Provides drug education to patients and their families per institutional protocol.
Participates in the quality improvement and medication use review activities of the department.
Collects data, conducts monitors and inspections and maintains logs, records and other documentation as assigned.

Experience PGY-1 and PGY-2 residency completion, Board certification, or 5 years hospital experience required at hire.
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Pharmacy registration in the State of practice.
Must have pharmacy State licensure within 60 days of start date.
