The Certified Surgical Tech First Assist (CSTFA) will provide essential support to the surgical team by evaluating and coordinating activities during surgical procedures. Perform pre and post-operative activities to facilitate optimal patient care. Works closely with surgeons in the operating room during a surgical procedure. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and during an operation, assist the surgeon with tasks such as selecting equipment, holding open incisions, stopping bleeding, closing the incision, among other technical tasks. Collaborate with healthcare professionals including anesthesiologists and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care throughout the surgical process.
Positioning the patient for surgery and aiding with draping
Clearing the area where the surgeon will operate and holding open incisions by using tissue retractors, sponges, or operating
suction or irrigation equipmentSelecting and passing instruments and supplies during an operation
Stopping bleeding by sponging, clamping, tying, or cauterizing vessels, or suturing tissue layers as directed by the surgeon
Applying dressings to surgical wounds
Counting sponges, needles, and other materials before and after the operation
Closing the incision at the end of the procedure
Follow facility protocol and policy as well as other state and federal laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma or GED required and completion of an accredited surgical first assistant program. Associates degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience as Surgical Tech. Preferred experience as a CSFA or SA-C in diverse surgical specialties and proficiency with robotic and minimally invasive surgical
techniques.
Certifications: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFSA) or Surgical Assistant-Certified (SA-C) required.
BLS - Basic Life Support required.
ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Job Summary and QualificationsRapid Responders are collaborative members of the health care team who deliver nursing and collaborative medical aspects of care to specific populations within the scope of care delineated by the licensing board, and professional standards of care. - Responds to all RRTs (Rapid Response calls), Code Blue, Code Sepsis, and Code Stroke
- Will take on the role of educator and provides support and education to staff as needed
- Communicates daily with each charge nurse to identify high risk patients
- Rounds on all medical-surgical units every two hours to address MEWS scores and questions and/or concerns of staff.
- Assesses all “at risk” patients as identified by MEWS score increases
- Monitors surgery schedule and rounds on any “at risk” post op patients
- Facilitates debriefings/critiques post codes
- Enters RRT data and creates monthly reports using excel, reports data to appropriate committees
- Completes 24 hours post RRT/Code Blue follow up and documentation
- Leads anient complaints to appropriate Unit Managers
- Utilizes chd facilitates RRT/Code Blue Committee
- Refers patain of command to ensure appropriate action is taken
- Facilitates a staff satisfaction feedback system for RRT

Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Senior Design and Analysis Engineer to serve the Air Dominance program in Berkeley, MO.
Position Responsibilities:
Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements
Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs, and interface specifications
Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements
Oversees the team that monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements
Solves problems and provides other support of fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle
Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs
Makes recommendations for technology investments
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

Knowledge of 3U and 6U VPX/OpenVPX architectures: This includes the VITA 46 and VITA 65 standards, appreciating the distinct advantages and trade-offs of each form factor in terms of size, weight, power (SWaP), processing capability, and I/O density.
Knowledge of Signal Integrity & Interconnect: Expertise in high-speed digital signal design, including impedance matching, managing signal integrity, and utilizing advanced interconnect solutions like VPX3's discrete coaxial/twinax cabling is highly valued
Experience with High-Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC): How to integrate and optimize performance for demanding workloads within the constraints of 3U and 6U form factors
Experience with hardware design and development, encompassing all phases of the product lifecycle from initial design to flight maturity
Experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulations and testing methodologies to verify system functionality
Experience with designing secure architectures, implementing cryptographic protocols, secure boot processes, firmware validation, and secure communications
Experience with Open Architecture Standards: Familiarity with standards like SOSA (Sensor Open Systems Architecture), which leverages VPX standards
Experience with Mezzanine Card Utilization: Understanding how mezzanine cards (e.g., XMC) can enhance functionality and scalability within 3U and 6U VPX systems
Experience with 3U/6U FPGAs, GPU, and CPUs
