McLean is currently seeking experienced crane operators to join our team in the Chesapeake, VA and Baltimore, MD regions. Selected applicants will work on a wide range of equipment from marine cranes, crawler cranes, and hydraulic cranes. Ideal candidates will possess the ability to safely and accurately operator and maintain assigned crane(s).
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience driving pile with different hammers, and experience using clamshell bucket. Current NCCCO LBC certification is required, and Friction crane operating experience is a plus!
Essential Skills
- Observe load rigging or hookup, determines safety of loads, operate within parameters of load chart.
- Places loads within fine tolerances, operates with skill using pile hammers, extractors and various bucket types.
- Manipulate or depress crane controls such as pedals, levers, and buttons, to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.
- Operate in a smooth and controlled manner.
- Use hoisting attachments such as hook, sling, electromagnet, or bucket as load requires.
- Clean and maintain crane and hoisting mechanism.
- May be called upon to operator additional construction equipment as needed.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. We are seeking a motivated engineer to join our team and support commissioning activities across a variety of building, industrial, and mission-critical projects. As a Commissioning Engineer, you will work under the guidance of senior engineers and project managers to test, verify, and document the performance of building systems to ensure they meet design intent, operational needs, and safety standards.

Job Description
Drill Tech is looking for a Project Manager to work out of our Royce City office in Texas. This position requires occasional travel as it will be necessary at various times for the applicant to work in the field. A successful candidate is willing to learn the fundamentals of our business and apply them to design engineering, estimating, scheduling, cost control analysis, contract and construction management. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to organize multiple concurrent tasks.
Primary Duties:
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Ensure work is completed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Develop construction project work plans with superintendent.
- Compile and plan budgets, cost estimates, and other financial estimates.
- Coordinate, plan, and manage job schedules.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget through job-cost tracking and project scheduling.
- Develop geotechnical design solutions, plans, and calculations packages for projects.
- Participate in interfacing with clients and design teams.
- Material procurement: order and manage materials and equipment.
- Provide internal reporting and projections for project.
- Oversee and supervise construction project progress and provide reports on timeline, progress, and adjustments.
- Perform submittal preparation and estimate potential future work with bid proposals.
- Oversee and implement all aspects of contract management and construction management over the full lifespan of a project.
Qualifications:
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Registered Professional Engineer (Civil Engineering) in the State of Texas.
- AutoCad and scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is required.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- Experience with estimating software such as HCSS is desired, but not necessary.

Sika is looking for a Technical Service Representative to join its growing team in the Kansas City, Missouri area. The TSR is responsible for monitoring the installation of Sika Sarnafil Roof Systems to ensure correct application procedures are followed. This is an outdoor position that requires extensive traveling to job sites. This individual performs warranty inspections and conducts training sessions for roofing contractor personnel. This position reports to the Regional Technical Manager.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Training of applicators to properly and efficiently install Sika Sarnafil roofing and waterproofing systems in an effort to ensure quality and contractor profitability. Provide training to others as needed.
- Overseeing the application process by attending job starts and performing in-progress project visits to monitor and enforce proper installation. Assure that application is in accordance with good roofing practices and Sarnafil specifications through documentation with field reports. Help to resolve installation problems and issues as they arise.
- Conducting final inspections for technical acceptance for warranty issuance.
- Act as the liaison between the applicator, General contractor, consultant, architect, building owner, and Sarnafil during the installation process.
- Advising Technical Manager concerning progress, issues, problems project needs.
- Assist Sales and others with pre-job meetings, roof surveys, and warranty claim issues.
- Following up on leak and warranty claim calls, and complete necessary Sarnafil repairs as needed.
- Inspection of existing Sarnafil roofs for warranty transfers, warranty extensions, and annual inspections.
- High School Diploma, preferably Associate degree
- 2-5 years of work experience in the roofing industry
- Technical knowledge of single-ply roof membrane installation, ideally Sarnafil
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel extensively within the region, some overnight travel (via car, train and plane)

This individual will be responsible for the fulfillment of receiving, processing, shipping and completing customer purchase orders for Sika Roofing products and services. This position is a HIGH LEVEL customer service role that acts as an account manager / project manager to our valued customers. In addition, this individual will support the region with projects that further improve operational service to customers.

Mission
Support a leading U.S. plastics manufacturer by ensuring the safety, reliability, and performance of complex manufacturing systems. You’ll maintain and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems that keep production moving across multiple industries — from medical and food packaging to aerospace.
This role exists to sustain uptime, drive reliability, and ensure every piece of equipment in the plant performs at its best.
Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance and on-demand repairs on production and facility equipment, minimizing downtime and maximizing output.
Electrical & Mechanical Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues using schematics, meters, and diagrams on systems including AC/DC motors, gearboxes, compressors, drives, and pumps.
Fabrication & Repair: Use shop tools (drill press, grinders, welders, torches, etc.) to modify or repair parts and components safely and efficiently.
System Optimization: Analyze root causes of failure and develop process improvements that extend equipment life and reduce repeat maintenance issues.
Documentation & Safety: Complete maintenance logs, follow lockout/tagout procedures, and ensure all repairs comply with OSHA and company safety standards.
Collaboration & Leadership: Communicate with operators, supervisors, and fellow technicians to ensure smooth shift handoffs and coordinated repairs.

Shift: 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM, 2-on / 2-off / 3-on / 3-off rotation
Requirements
Must have served in the U.S. Army, U.S. Navy, U.S. Marine Corps, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. Space Force, U.S. Reserves, or U.S. National Guard.
Solid background in multi-craft maintenance (electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems)
Experience reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and blueprints
Working knowledge of gearboxes, motors, pumps, air compressors, and drive systems
Ability to safely use industrial tools (hand, pneumatic, and shop machinery)
Understanding of steam systems and boiler operations preferred
Strong communication and documentation skills
Must be willing to work a 12-hour rotating night shift schedule

ABOUT THE ROLE
Captain is to be responsible for managing our vessels, vessel personnel, and all barges in tow. Captains are responsible for crew members’ safety and their well-being while on our vessel. Captains must adhere to all United States Coast Guard regulations and company policies.
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
- Captains are expected to navigate the vessel in a safe manner and ensure safety rules are followed by everyone.
- Captains will manage the daily efficiency of the vessel, along with the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel.
- Directs and coordinates barge and towing operations, ensuring adherence to safety and environmental protocols and industry regulations.
- Responsible for supervising safe and efficient operation and performance of crew, vessel and tow and for ensuring that the equipment is kept neat and in good working order.
- Ensures that Company policies and protocols are followed; report all violations of policies, or violations of Maritime Federal or State regulations to Marine Operations Manager.
- Routine maintenance and operation of all machinery aboard the vessel, or tow.
- Manages crews, reporting anticipated crew shortages; directs crew in daily operations, providing training.
- Sets the watch standing schedule for their crew, ensuring that no licensed wheelman works more than 12 hours in any 24 hour period.
- Reports Boat Position; barges with cargo; time and location of exchange of barges; estimated time of arrival/departure; report delay time, place and cause; quality of fuel aboard and received, and any other pertinent information.
- Maintains the Vessel Daily Log and see that it is updated at the end of each 6 hour watch by themselves or their relief.

- Other responsibilities as assigned.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education: High school diploma or equivalent
Required Work Experience: 5-10 years’ experience operating Towing vessels, and moving barges in our working area 2 years’ experience supervising a tow boat crew
Required Training/Certifications: Captains must hold a Master of Towing / Mate of Towing Vessels or Master of 200 gross tons or more with towing vessels endorsement license issued by the United States Coast Guard, with a radar observer endorsement.
Travel Requirements: Must be able to work 15 days on, 7 days off; stands watch for 12 hours each day, divided in to six hour shifts.
Additional Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Demonstrable knowledge of local waterways and regulations
- Experience with electronic navigation systems and associated technology
- Ability to live in close quarters
- Demonstrable understanding of vessel maintenance, cargo handling equipment and operational procedures
- Ability to work well under pressure, in changing conditions
- Required to walk on irregular surfaces that may be muddy and in reduced lighting conditions on barges; walk up and down several flights of stairs, 2-3 times per day.
- Required to sit, and or stand for up to six hours while on watch and operating the vessel.
- Ability to lift, pull, push, and carry at least 50lbs.
- Per the requirements of the US Coast Guard, all licensed Captains take, and pass and physical every five years to renew their license.
- Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
