The Role
We are seeking a high-ownership manufacturing leader with a strong chemical engineering or process engineering background who thrives in complex, fast-growing environments and enjoys building systems that support scale.
This role exists to build and lead Carpe’s contract manufacturing and process engineering capability as the company rapidly expands production across multiple product categories and retail partners.
While this role carries meaningful strategic responsibility, it is also deeply operational and hands-on. You will work directly with contract manufacturers to strengthen processes, improve manufacturing performance, and ensure Carpe products are produced consistently and reliably at scale.
This is a build-and-own role, not a delegation role. You will engage directly with the technical teams at contract manufacturing partners, travel up to 50% as needed, and work hands-on to improve processes, troubleshoot manufacturing challenges, and scale production.
You will partner closely with Product Development, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain to translate product innovation into robust, scalable manufacturing processes.

Manufacturing Manager
Our Manufacturing Operations Manager directs, maintains, and oversees execution of assembly, manufacturing, and production activities for the manufacturing plant which includes safety, yield, productivity, labor, cost, production schedule, quality, continuous process improvements to meet established business goals. There are numerous positions available for entry, mid-level and supervisory roles in manufacturing operations. The Manufacturing Science Associate will engage in various aspects of pharmaceutical production, including formulation, aseptic filling, visual inspection and secondary packaging, as well as equipment and process implementation activities required to bring the facility into service. Description
The Sr Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the technical development, oversight and improvement of manufacturing processes within the area of responsibility. This individual will lead process optimization, technical problem-solving, and cross-functional manufacturing initiatives. This role is accountable for achieving senior-level competence Plans and presents engineering program and product design reviews for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, customer contract requirements, and related specifications. Essential Responsibilities
- Develop, release, and maintain detailed technical work instructions for the manufacture and repair of aerospace metallic structures and assemblies, ensuring full compliance with customer(s) engineering definition and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with CNC Programming group to develop and implement manufacturing plan for complex metallic machined components/assemblies.

What Will You Do
- Develop, implement and maintain a manufacturing plan for multi-plant operations using a Supply Chain Management scheduling system. Review and make recommendations for approving the Master Schedule for sequence of models in assembly by reviewing machining, labor and material constraints.
- Maintain strong attention to material utilization, process flow, cycle time and inventory management.
- Monitor, revise and control execution of the plan on the shop floor using a Supply Chain Management scheduling system. Prioritize the sequences of manufacturing work orders; adjust queue times, move times and lead times to improve throughput.
- Assist in the development of the shop floor production strategy. Review the throughput capacity requirements planning (CRP) report weekly with manufacturing management looking for short-term problems at selected work centers. Review the throughput Load-to-Capacity reports monthly with appropriate management looking for potential long-term constraints associated with manufacturing and assembly work centers. Suggest the use of overtime as required.
- Meet quarterly with sales and operations management to review sales forecast numbers of existing products and new forecast numbers from new product introductions. Using the APS, create a Load to Capacity chart to determine and evaluate the impact of machinery, materials, methods, environment and people for all manufacturing divisions: casegoods, upholstery and bedding.
- Work closely with P &IC Managers in other facilities to make recommendations and implement necessary changes to manufacturing systems to improve flow of materials to achieve standardization of planning systems throughout the organization.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the manufacturing plan and the results of its execution with the goal of meeting or exceeding scheduled completion goals for each facility. Work with P &IC Managers and planners to make recommended changes to Advanced Scheduling Systems (through-put) model.
- Assist with directing the activities of the Manufacturing Supply chain planner; collaborate with P &IC supervision, planners and clerical personnel to resolve planning issues and provide training and education in Material Requirements Planning (MRP), MAPICS XA, APICS, CPIM and CSCP.
- Provide continuous improvement of the manufacturing operations computer systems and departmental processes. Collaborate with the IT organization to improve current and new programs. Develop and annual budget for equipment and personnel.

Director of Manufacturing
We’re seeking a Director of Manufacturing to lead our Rio Rancho based manufacturing operations — our modern “Arsenal of Democracy” — delivering hypersonic capability at scale to deter future conflicts. Responsibilities
- Define and execute strategy to scale all Rio Rancho based production including solid rocket motor manufacturing, integration, and test and validation (HITL/VITL) from prototype to scaled production
- Recruit, train/develop, and scale a diverse, high-performing 250+ employee manufacturing team (technicians, leaders, and manufacturing engineers)

About the Role
The Advanced Manufacturing Manager will lead the Advanced Manufacturing team to drive the development and integration of factory automation, manufacturing tooling and new technology to deliver results to achieve strategic goals to support manufacturing growth. The Industrial Engineer supports manufacturing sustainment operations and new product introductions (NPI) for advanced AI/ML and GPU-accelerated server rack platforms. This role is responsible for optimizing production systems to ensure safety, quality, delivery, cost, and scalability objectives are achieved. The position plays a critical role in production ramp readiness, time standard integrity, capacity modeling, layout optimization, and continuous improvement execution within a high-complexity, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
This position is part of the core team launching new manufacturing technologies at our production facility in Florence, KY. It is a fully on-site role, and relocation assistance may be available for candidates who reside more than 50 miles from the Florence area. The ideal candidate has experience supporting the assembly, testing, and integration of complex electronic hardware systems in a manufacturing environment. This is a junior individual contributor position requiring strong cross-functional collaboration in a high-constraint environment to deliver data-driven process improvements.
SHIFT / SCHEDULE:
The Industrial Engineer is required to work 12-hour shifts, on the following schedule:
- Shift 404: (nights) 6:00PM to 6:00AM, Thursday through Saturday every week and Wednesday through Saturday every other week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure data alignment and configuration accuracy across ERP and manufacturing execution systems (SAP, MES, iFactory).
- Build analytical tools (Excel models, dashboards, and simulations) to support data-driven decision-making.
- Assist in scoping capital equipment needs, developing business justifications, and supporting vendor engagement through implementation.
- Support layout modeling and infrastructure planning for new production lines or facility expansions.
MINIMUM SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- 1-2 years of Industrial Engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience performing time studies, capacity modeling, and production flow optimization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working in cross-functional production environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders.
PREFERRED
- Experience supporting the assembly, testing, and integration of complex electronic hardware infrastructure.
- Experience in high-volume or high-complexity NPI ramp environments.
- Familiarity with MES systems and ERP platforms (SAP preferred).
- Experience with manufacturing simulation tools or advanced data modeling.
- Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt preferred).
- AutoCAD or layout modeling experience.

Required PPE in the manufacturing area includes: composite-toe shoes, hearing protection, protective eyewear, and an ESD vest. The manufacturing floor is modern, climate-controlled, and well-lit.
