Responsibilities

In your role as Sr Avionics Hardware Engineer, you will design, analyze, document, test, and troubleshoot electronic assemblies at the circuit board through integrated electro-mechanical level. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team of electrical, mechanical, software, manufacturing and test engineers as the expert on your hardware. The Surface Based Effector Production Department is searching for a Sr. Principal Guidance Section Systems Integrator role on a complex missile program that is critical for our national defense and has near unlimited growth potential. The Systems Integrator role will work closely with all disciplines associated with missile production including Program Management, Chief Engineers, Quality, Supply Chain and Production Operations to ensure the technical integrity of our products is maintained and performs as intended every time. Position Responsibilities:

Our client, a leader in the beauty tech space, is looking for an Associate Marketing Manager in Chicago.


Location: 5 days/onsite (Chicago)

Hours: 40/week

Duration: 6 months, potential to extend

Pay Range: $40-45/hr.


We are looking for a self-starter with a strong marketing mindset and analytical curiosity to join the marketing team. In this role, you will support critical business initiatives across product launches, category insights, and commercial execution for Environmental Care portfolio and emerging product categories.


You will play an important role in the day-to-day execution of product launches and category operations, including maintaining product documentation, coordinating campaign setup, tracking competitive activity, and supporting sales and retailer initiatives. This role partners closely with Global Product Development, Sales, Retail, Supply & Demand Planning, Creative, and Finance to ensure launches and marketing programs are executed successfully.


The ideal candidate has an interest in consumer electronics and technology products, enjoys working cross-functionally, and is comfortable using data and insights to inform decisions.


Key Responsibilities

Product Launch Execution

  • Support execution of product launches across Environmental Care and new product categories
  • Assist with product setup, launch planning, campaign briefing, and cross-functional coordination
  • Ensure launch timelines, assets, and documentation are accurate and delivered on schedule


Product Documentation & Range Management

  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of internal spec sheets and product range documentation
  • Track updates across product specifications, messaging, and positioning materials


Claims & Messaging Tracking

  • Monitor and track product claims, caveats, and compliance requirements
  • Ensure claims documentation is accurate and aligned across marketing materials, product documentation, and retailer communications


Sales Reporting & Market Insights

  • Support sales reporting, performance tracking, and business commentary
  • Monitor competitive activity and market trends within the Environmental Care category
  • Identify insights and opportunities to help inform category strategy and commercial planning


Retailer & Channel Coordination

  • Support retailer initiatives across physical retail environments and e-commerce (.com) channels
  • Assist with product setup, launch support, and retailer sell-in materials where needed


Campaign Execution

  • Assist in coordinating campaign setup and execution in partnership with Marketing Managers, Creative, and Media teams
  • Support campaign tracking, performance monitoring, and reporting


Category Insights

  • Support the broader category team with competitive analysis, campaign insights, and product performance reporting
  • Assist in preparing materials and analysis for cross-functional and leadership meetings


About You

  • 1–3 years of experience in marketing, product marketing, category management, or sales support
  • Experience or strong interest in consumer electronics, technology products, or home appliances
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong analytical mindset and comfort working with data, reporting, and insights
  • Excellent attention to detail, especially when managing product documentation and claims
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, and retail teams
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

ABOUT THE ROLE



This responsibility involves assessing and creating Matheson’s electronics marketing plan and strategy, and then planning, coordinating and directing marketing and new business development efforts. The position requires excellent knowledge of Matheson capabilities, and customer process, issues and demands mainly in semiconductor industry and identifies business strategy, direction, and new products or solutions to these requirements or issues from customer. The position is responsible for overseeing the technological direction of Electronics division, ensuring that technology resources align with business goals and drive innovation.



RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Develop Matheson’s Technology Strategy by developing, identifying, and implementing business and product strategies that meet our customer needs and matches Matheson’s capabilities to successfully provide the product or service with safety, and high quality.
  • Provide technical and business leadership by leading and managing technical teams as well as commercial personnel while fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Manage, maintain and grow the Research and Development efforts of Matheson by staying abreast of the industry needs, emerging technology and trends and conducting research to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in gases and other molecules, equipment, purification, and services for semiconductor industry.
  • Understand and manage Matheson’s technology infrastructure, and utilize the resources, effectively, efficiently, while ensuring it is scalable, secure, reliable and can be operated safely.
  • Communicate with senior executives of Matheson to ensure they understand the specific business opportunities while identifying and providing specifics on the risks and unknowns.
  • Construct revenue and expense budgets for both UHP equipment business as well as the Research and development group.
  • Provide tactical and strategic direction for development of new processes, new products, and new technology in the area of materials science, corrosion mitigation, packaging, purification, storage and delivery technologies within MATHESON and holding company.
  • Generation of ideas and improvements for technology and new products.
  • Development of project plans, timelines and staff and capex budgets.
  • Perform safety and hazard reviews/evaluations and evaluate abatement requirements for experiments.
  • Ensuring that projects are adequately staffed and resourced.
  • Prioritization of R&D project work and selection of personnel to maximize R&D outputs and ensure that project work adheres to timelines and is completed on time.
  • Responsibility for ensuring that project outcomes are regularly communicated with senior management and coordinated with other groups/sections within the company.
  • Direct successful handover/transition of R&D and AT projects with Engineering or Operations Department taking over the next phase of projects.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Education Level: A Ph.D. in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is required with at least 10 years of directly relevant experience.

REQUIRED SKILLS



  • Excel, Word, Visio, Power Point, Adobe, Outlook, Webex, TIMS a plus.
  • This position requires the skills necessary to efficiently conduct basic research, product and technology development activities and pilot runs of new or improved products and evaluate the results of laboratory work and pilot programs; prepare progress reports and recommend the expansion or discontinuance of such programs; prepare accurate resource analyses of all development projects and forecast accurate project completion dates; and ensure that each research project is handled with the most economical and feasible methods possible.

Job Description
Full-time onsite:
Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full- time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.
This will be a 1st Shift position for a 4/10 schedule Monday-Thursday.
Assemble electronic components, assemblies, subassemblies, kits and modules according to specific written instructions, wiring lists and diagrams, routing instructions and process sheets. Use appropriate tooling and machinery as provided. Verify and inspect products to ensure conformance with requirements and perform rework as needed.
Perform mechanical and electrical assembly operations in the build of electronic assemblies using standard measuring tools and techniques, following work order instructions, policies and procedures. Perform soldering and inspection when/if certified.
Cross-train in other assembly positions, participate and support continuous improvement activities, perform other duties and responsibilities as required.

Full-Time Salary Range: $38041 - $60865
