Summary: Ensures the department is running in a safe, productive manner. Focuses on production, quality and people. Identifies, investigates and works to solve problems that arise. Works closely with department employees and reports any issues to Ricotta Packaging Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1.\tAssists operators in set up and start of packaging.2.\tInsures performance of quality control checks. 3.\tVerifies code information on all cups, boxes, packages and pallet labels.4.\tCompletes and maintains appropriate paperwork/reports.5.\tVerifies operator logs each hour with signature.6.\tPerforms seal checks on each line each half-hour.7.\tTours entire room on a half-hour basis. 8.\tMonitors product giveaway at check weighers and address any issues with the machine operator.9.\tAssures that proper product sampling is complete and taken to the laboratory in a timely manner. 10.\tReviews metal detection logs, addresses any issues that arise. 11.\tChecks cooling spiral temperatures, spiral speeds, and before and after cooling temperatures.12.\tEnsures sufficient manpower is scheduled for next day's activities. This is a full-time Contract and Grants (C&G)-based faculty position to support ongoing federally sponsored research in a long-standing and agile R&D lab. We are seeking an Assistant In Embedded Training Researcher/Software Engineer with expertise in advanced algorithms and software development, computer visualization, and immersive training technologies to support the design, development, and implementation of next-generation embedded, visual, and intelligent research training systems. The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary team conducting applied research in simulation-based training, modeling, and opportunity-based training systems.

Key Responsibilities


  • Research, design, develop, and implement software to enhance training in real-world and 3D environments. Develop high-fidelity visual simulation and application prototypes.


  • Research and develop frameworks for embedded hardware and software for advanced embedded training systems.

The Mechanical Estimating Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing all mechanical estimating activities for facility-based projects, including piping, mechanical, welding, equipment setting, and associated systems. This role ensures estimates are accurate, competitive, complete, and aligned with company standards, execution strategies, and market conditions.


The Mechanical Estimating Manager provides technical leadership, mentorship, and quality control across the estimating team while supporting bid strategy, risk evaluation, and executive decision-making. This position bridges estimating, operations, project controls, supply chain, and business development to ensure estimates support profitable, buildable work and successful project execution.


Primary Job Function:

· Lead and manage mechanical estimating efforts for facility projects across all bid phases.

· Oversee the development of accurate, complete mechanical estimates derived from drawings, specifications, and bid documents.

· Assign estimating responsibilities and manage workload distribution across the estimating team.

· Review and approve detailed takeoffs for piping, welding, equipment, valves, structural components, and mechanical systems.

· Ensure labor build-ups are developed using appropriate production rates, crew compositions, historical data, and execution strategies.

· Provide technical oversight to validate constructability, installation methods, and labor assumptions.

· Direct coordination with Supply Chain to solicit, evaluate, and normalize vendor and subcontractor pricing.

· Manage multiple bids simultaneously and provide status updates to leadership.

· Maintain organized, auditable estimate files and supporting documentation.

Leadership & Management Responsibilities:

· Mentor, coach, and develop senior, junior, and entry-level mechanical estimators.
