The Opportunity

As a dedicated Manager, Claims Operations, you will lead and be accountable for auto, and other claims operations member service employees who are responsible for serving our members, and providing appropriate solutions as they investigate, evaluate and negotiate the claim. Develop engaged employees through regular coaching and feedback to deliver business results. Complete process improvements, provide feedback on the process and lead organizational process changes. Drive execution of operational risk management, regulatory compliance training, policies and, procedures.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position is based in the following location: Colorado Springs, CO. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

  • Inspect and review quality of claim files and provide feedback to employees as appropriate.

  • Responsible for ongoing coaching and driving awareness so employees understand how their work and contributions support the overall claims and Enterprise strategies.

  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational effectiveness, member experiences and processes providing feedback to internal partners

What you have:

  • Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of related experience (in addition to the minimum years of experience required) may be substituted in lieu of degree.

  • 6 years of progressive customer service, operational, military or leadership experience to include a minimum of 2 years of claims handling experience required with demonstrated proficiency.

  • 2 years of direct team lead, supervisory or management experience.

  • Experience using and interpreting data to make decisions.

  • Demonstrated leadership, initiative, customer service and/or claims handling skills.

  • Acquisition and maintenance of applicable insurance adjuster license within 6 months time in role.

Job Summary:

Proficiently operates all OR, Hybrid and diagnostic radiology equipment. 4. Maintains the radiological equipment in good operating order. Cleans and disinfect equipment and area after each use. Maintain work area in an orderly manner. Report any hazardous conditions or equipment breakdowns to supervisor.
5. Demonstrates yearly competencies, including knowledge and behaviors, to conduct examinations and meet the needs of patients with regard to the patient’s age, condition or other special requirements.
6. Routinely prepares examination for interpretation by the radiologist to include correct identification and processing. Sets up images properly in PACs system. Accurately inputs data in the RIS by tracking actual procedure in order to capture all charges and other relevant information.
7. Possess computer skills appropriate to meet departmental needs in preparation of reports and correspondence.
8. Works effectively as a team member within the department and with other units to provide quality service through communication, cooperation and collaboration
9. Provides clinical supervision and instruction to students by maintaining and understanding of policies, procedures, and the clinical competency process (in order to evaluate student growth and competence in performing radiographic procedures).

SUMMARY


The Maintenance Technician – HVAC is to maintain the physical integrity of the community. This involves ensuring a safe, secure, and comfortable living environment for residents, visitors, and staff. In the absence of a maintenance supervisor, the Maintenance Technician –HVAC will assume all maintenance responsibilities.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  • The Maintenance Technician - HVAC performs (or coordinates as authorized) all maintenance activities of apartment community(s) including repairs, preventative maintenance, installations, and construction in a timely manner and according to company policies and procedures to maximize the property’s property occupancy and return-on-investment.

    • Completes service requests within 24 hours
    • Participated in an ongoing community improvement plan and preventative maintenance program
    • Performs trash-outs and make-readies to ensure units are ready for future residents as quickly as possible
    • Changes lock and make keys
    • Removes and transfers heavy appliances and equipment from storage area to apartment (or vice versa) as circumstances warrant; assists in moving abandoned furniture, appliances, etc. to a dumpster when necessary
    • Diagnoses and performs maintenance/repair, as directed, involving the following a daily basis:


  • Maintenance Technician keeps property common areas and grounds neat and free of litter. Performs routine grounds keeping when necessary, weeds, rakes, sweeps, shovels, as circumstances warrant
  • Maintenance Technician ensures that storage areas, vacant units, etc. remain locked when not in use
  • Maintenance Technician responsible for the thorough knowledge, implementation, and enforcement of pertinent laws and EPA and OSHA regulations governing proper use, storage, and management of hazardous materials, including solvents, flammables, caustics, and freon
  • Maintenance Technician maintains a courteous and helpful demeanor with residents, prospective residents, co-workers, vendors, etc.

    • Assists with resident functions as required
    • Acts as a team member with all associates of the management staff


  • Maintenance Technician must adhere to schedule, be prompt, on time to work, and have good, regular attendance.

    • Must have a reliable mode of transportation at all hours. The job will require a response to emergency calls outside of “business hours”, trips to pick up supplies, etc. and may require travel to perform work at other properties in the geographic area
    • Must have a mode of communication in which to be contacted at home and to respond in cases of emergency


  • Maintenance Technician responsible for reporting any unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the residents or the property

Primary Responsibilities

Maintenance & Reliability Leadership

·        Plan, manage, and continuously improve the preventive maintenance program to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

·        Direct and coordinate all corrective maintenance activities across production and facility systems.

·        Establish and lead structured root cause analysis (RCA) processes to eliminate repeat failures.

·        Develop, track, and analyze maintenance KPIs related to downtime, MTTR, MTBF, and PM effectiveness.

Technical & Equipment Oversight

·        Provide technical leadership for bakery production equipment.

·        Ensure proper operation, maintenance, and reliability of compressed air, steam, water, and other critical utilities.

·        Oversee maintenance and performance of robotic systems and automated production lines, including pick-and-place robots, automated packaging, and material handling systems.

·        Develop and coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for the entire facility, reducing unplanned downtime and extending equipment life.

·        Coordinate preventive and predictive maintenance programs for all equipment. 

Projects & Capital Execution

·        Plan and manage construction-related maintenance projects, facility upgrades, and equipment installations.

·        Coordinate with engineering, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.

·        Support commissioning, start-up, and validation of new equipment and production lines.

People Leadership & Development

·        Lead, mentor, and develop maintenance leadership and technician teams.

·        Lead training and skill development initiatives for maintenance technicians across all production and facility equipment systems.

·        Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous learning within the maintenance organization.

·        Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Engineering and Quality Teams.



Qualifications

Required

·        Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering.

·        Minimum 10–15 years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing (preferred), pharmaceutical, or industrial manufacturing environments.

·        Minimum 5–7 years in a maintenance leadership or management role.

Kimber is seeking Facility & Maintenance Technicians at all levels—from entry-level to experienced professionals—to join our team across eight levels of multi-craft roles, ranging from an Entry Facility Technician to a Senior Maintenance Technician. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES




All Technicians: 



  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility systems and production equipment. 
  • Respond to and complete maintenance requests and work orders in a timely, professional manner. 
  • Follow safety protocols and document maintenance activities accurately. 
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and functional working environment. 
  • Effectively communicate and notify manager when there are discrepancies.

Facility Technicians: 



  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building systems, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems. 
  • Perform general building upkeep such as carpentry, drywall repair, painting, and lighting replacements. 
  • Support overall grounds maintenance and facility cleanliness. 
  • Maintain tools and facility inventory; ensure all equipment is in safe working order. 
  • Assist in setting up or modifying workspaces and facility layouts as needed.

Maintenance Technicians: 



  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. 
  • Maintain and troubleshoot CNC machinery, PLCs, and other automated or precision machining equipment. 
  • Perform root cause analysis and corrective action to prevent equipment failures. 
  • Utilize a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders and inventory. 
  • Make accurate, independent decisions regarding equipment condition and product quality. 
  • Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and manufacturing quality standards.

 


QUALIFICATIONS
