Fab Production Planner
Responsibilities
- Create and manage the master production schedule, translating the customer demand into specific daily and weekly wafer start plan
- Monitor and track the work-in-progress (WIP) flow within the fab, ensuing efficient movement of wafer lots to meet output plan and fulfil customer demand requirement
- Identify, analyze, and resolve production bottlenecks related to equipment performance, material availability, or labor resources to maximize fab throughput and reduce cycle time
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, production, and engineering teams to align production plan, manage demand/order changes, and schedule interruptions
- Coordinate with purchasing teams to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent shortages or excesses of inventory materials
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time delivery (OTD), cycle time, inventory and inventory turn
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency, optimize processes, and increase productivity.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's or master’s degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management, or related fields
- > 5 years of work experiences in factory planning, or supply chain management
- Proficiency in Excel for data management, analysis and reporting
- Experience with Oracle systems
- Programming skills are preferred
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and supply chain principles
- Familiarity with capacity and demand forecasting models
- Attention to details
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
