About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented and highly organized Logistics Specialist to support daily logistics, administrative, and financial coordination across North American operations. This role is responsible for customer order processing, transportation coordination, invoice reconciliation, accounts payable/receivable posting, and general administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics & Order Processing

  • Enter and process customer orders accurately in SAP or similar ERP software.

  • Maintain shipment documentation, including bills of lading and delivery confirmations.
  • Track shipment status and communicate updates internally.

  • Communicates with customers on a daily basis with Ready Mix Concrete orders
  • Works closely with plant managers to ensure the timely distribution & delivery of concrete according to customer needs & requirements
  • Handles customer questions & problems as needed
  • Works closely with operations managers to ensure correct material and equipment is at an appropriate locations to be able to complete daily orders
  • Communicates with mixer drivers, plant managers, production mangers, and operation managers on a frequent and regular basis to avoid & address issues, concerns or problems.
  • Processes credit cards when customers are paying on delivery.
  • Work with administration department on a daily basis about customer credit issues or inquiries.
  • Work with sales department on customer orders on a daily basis to keep all customers satisfied

As an associate you will be working within one of several teams:

* Receiving: This team accepts our customers' new inventory and owns the entire process of getting that inventory put away and accepted into our system. The responsibility of communicating the arrivals and any exceptions are receiving owned as well.

Job Description:
-Responsible for leading and working with team members including assigning work, training, and reviewing quality of work
-Monitoring employee attendance and productivity, and taking steps to improve performance where necessary
-Ensure all employees are utilizing all safety precautions and maintaining safe work environment
-Communicating concerns, updates, and completion timelines (with site management and customer)

Shift: Monday - Friday
Pay Range: $20.50-$20.50  
Pay Scale: Not Applicable

Job Requirements:
-2 years of warehouse experience preferred
-6 months or more of Warehouse/Distribution team lead experience
-Proficiency in MS Office Products required (Outlook, Word and Excel)
-Understanding of and experience working with Warehouse Management Systems
-Experience with basic data entry / time and attendance tracking
-Ability to communicate effectively both orally and written
-Work in a physically demanding warehouse environment – continuously lifting and moving up to 50lbs.
-Forklift, electric pallet jack, or other warehouse material handling equipment certification preferred
-Meet/lead/inspire fast-paced productivity goals and standards
-Excellent customer service required
-Overtime/Weekends will be required during peak/seasonal volumes
-Ability to work in various climate conditions (potentially including cooler/freezers)
-Standing 8 to 10 hours per day
-Effective communication skills
-Safety shoes are required
-Reliable transportation with the ability to arrive on time
-Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
-Other duties as assigned
