- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in cardiac electrophysiology
- Proficiency in ablations (minimum 100 EP cases in last 2 years, with emphasis on ablations)
- Ability to perform moderate sedation independently
- Experience with Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system
- Skilled in performing TEEs and moderate sedation
- Case logs and vaccination records required for credentialing
Cardiology Physician Responsibilities
- Evaluate and manage adult patients with heart rhythm disturbances in hospital and clinic settings
- Perform cardiac electrophysiology procedures, including left-sided ablations
- Conduct hospital consults and manage EP cases (4–6 per day)
- Utilize Abbott Ensite-X Mapping system for cardiac procedures
- Perform transesophageal echocardiograms (TEEs) and moderate sedation
- Document patient care in Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality cardiac care
- Participate in orientation and remote Cerner training prior to start
