Position description
The Goldman School of Public Policy at the University of California, Berkeley, invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary instructors to work as lecturers, teaching courses in a School that confers professional graduate degrees (MPP, MPA, and MDP) and the PhD degree in Public Policy.
The courses may encompass both core curriculum (Economics, Quantitative Methods, Law & Public Policy, Introduction to Policy Analysis, Advanced Policy Analysis, and Politics & Public Policy); as well as its breadth curriculum (policy applications in specific disciplines and/or specializations, as noted below in Preferred Qualifications). Lecturers may be hired to teach at the undergraduate and/or graduate level, should an opening arise. Please note: The use of a lecturer pool does not guarantee that an open position exists.
The pool will remain open for one calendar year; those interested in remaining in the pool beyond that time must reapply. The number of positions varies from semester to semester, depending on the needs of the school.
Teaching Responsibilities: Primary duties include teaching undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses, typically one course per semester.
General Duties: In addition to teaching, duties may include creating a course syllabus for enrolled students; creating midterm examination materials; creating final examinations as necessary; creating problem sets (as appropriate); creating writing assignments; supervising academic student employees (readers, tutors, teaching assistants); holding office hours; assigning grades; preparing course materials; and advising and mentoring graduate or undergraduate students on independent research projects.

General Summary of Position:
As an Offer Management Pricing Analyst at Granite Telecommunications, the role will focus on coordinating the company's efforts in creating customer quote proposals. Offer Management Pricing Analyst's will work closely with the Premier and Sales Department to ensure pricing accuracy of all quote proposals and meeting the pricing needs of current or potential customers. The responsibilities will encompass various stages of the quote process, from gathering relevant data to engaging with customers to understand their concerns, requirements, and product preferences. Additionally, leading the creation of the quote proposal and putting together the financial margin for each quote proposal.
An important aspect of the position will be the capability to understand multiple aspects and details that go into each quote proposal, and the overall solution or ask of the customer. The Offer Management Pricing Analyst will participate in internal calls to review the final quote proposal or discuss any aspects that require further evaluation. Effective communication skills via email, phone, and in-person interactions are necessary for conveying and receiving messages.

How You'll Contribute:
The Design Engineer (DE) is a contributing member of the core project team for Faith & Performance projects. The DE supports projects through the lifecycle from sales concept and design development to construction drawings and implementation support. Working under the guidance of a Senior Design Engineer or Project Engineering leadership, the DE assists in translating client needs and system requirements into coordinated technical designs and documentation.
The DE collaborates with internal subject matter experts (SMEs) as needed and is responsible for producing accurate drawings, layouts, and supporting documentation in accordance with project standards. The DE contributes to equipment selection and bill of materials development, subject to review and approval by senior engineering staff.
What You'll Do:

- Conceptualize system designs and determine system requirements. About the Role
We are seeking a Consumer-Focused Digital Marketing Manager with a strong background in CPG marketing (preferably dairy) to lead our digital initiatives. This role combines creativity, analytics, and technology to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate with consumers and drive measurable results. - A key contact for Digital marketing, working with the senior management to develop trade and digital strategies and releases, ensuring activity is within budgets and deployed appropriately to support key messages / campaigns.
- Responsible for managing the delivery of all B2B Digital marketing communication, including email / social /website, ensuring tone of voice is representative of the Karoun and Portfolio brands whilst being agent appropriate and engaging.
- Develops and executes B2B Digital marketing strategies to boost sales via retailers, distributors and wholesalers.
- Acts as a liaison between Company brand marketing and sales to create persuasive digital marketing technical and strategical materials and deployments to fruition per the strategical plans and forecasts.
- Manage trade promotions with digital technical resources, tools, and measures as an advocate of the goal and mission, the same for in-store presence.
- Analyze performance metrics of digital marketing related deployments and offer strategic roadmaps with actionable planning.
- Consumer-Centric Strategy: Develop and execute digital marketing strategies based on consumer insights and behavior.
- Social Media & Paid Ads: Manage Meta Ads, Google Ads, and other paid campaigns. Implement targeting and retargeting, optimize pixels/tags, and ensure accurate tracking.
- SEO & Keyword Analytics: Conduct keyword research, optimize content for SEO, and manage SEM campaigns to improve visibility and traffic.
- Content Creation & Virality: Produce engaging content (posts, videos, blogs) designed to connect with consumers and encourage sharing. Identify influencers and manage collaborations.
- AI-Driven Optimization: Use AI tools for predictive analytics, automated scheduling, keyword analysis, and campaign performance optimization.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track KPIs such as views, reach, GRPs, CPM, and use tools like Google Analytics and heatmaps to improve user experience and conversions.
- Retail & Marketplace Integration: Manage campaigns for Instacart, Walmart, and Amazon Fresh, including paid ads and performance adjustments.
- Email Marketing & Automation: Build and manage email campaigns, leveraging automation for efficiency.
- Trend Monitoring: Stay ahead of emerging digital marketing and AI trends.
- Accountable for ensuring all support material for use in B2B and B2C trade comms is created and distributed in a timely manner and on budget.
- Work with the senior manager to develop multi-channel trade communication plans, using insightful analytics of performance and aligning with brand activity to deliver tailored comms suitable for the message being delivered.
- Maintain an external perspective and awareness of trade marketing activity other organizations are carrying out within and outside of the industry. Using any insight gained to inform Karoun's trade and marketing related activities.
- Take the lead on building relationships with Karoun and portfolio brands to share best practice and agent insight.
- Represent as digital marketing lead in key partnership team (sales) events, ensuring the partnership team is aware of upcoming plans, activity and news from digital marketing. Similarly, will then also represent the voice of the marketing/sales team in related meetings.
- Have ownership of ensuring the respective teams have a thorough and good understanding of digital brand activities and information. Regularly meet and work relevant business agents to better plan and deliver such related digital marketing campaigns that are optimized for the desired delivering of commercial, sales and brand objectives.
- Proactively work with internal and external partners and business relation colleagues to create and deliver assets than can be used where possible.
- Share best practice and learnings from and with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Advocates and supports Head of Marketing and Sales Management as and when needed.
- Provide the sales team with support on proofing key digital marketing materials.

NATURE OF THE POSITIONUnder the supervision of the Director of Marketing and Advancement Services, or designee, the Advancement Services Specialist provides creative, logistical, and technical support for marketing campaigns, fundraising activities, donor relations, graphic design, event coordination, and scholarship programming. The Advancement Services Specialist provides specialized support in promoting the College and the PVC Foundation?s mission, advancing equity and inclusion, and enhancing institutional visibility through creative content development, data integrity, and community engagement.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops and supports inclusive marketing and fundraising efforts that celebrate student diversity, promotes access to scholarships, and build authentic engagement with donors, alumni, and the broader community,
- Provides logistical and creative support for advancement efforts such as fundraising, annual giving, alumni engagement, grant support, and planned giving communications.
- Responsible for logging gifts, preparing donor receipts and acknowledgment letters, validating submitted donor records, creating pledges, and reminders.

Requirements:
Food & Beverage Retail Operations
- Support Food & Beverage operation during high-volume times by taking orders, serving, or assisting with prep.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, cleanliness, and service standards according to federal, state, and local regulations and AHGs policies.
- Properly label & date according to comply with applicable state and federal regulations.
- Review, code, approve, and submit invoices to AutoCamps Accounts Payable.
- Manage monthly inventory: must be available on the 1st of every month.
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items (including daily specials), prices, preparation method/time, major ingredients, and quality standards of taste, appearance, texture, serving temperature, portion size, garnish, and method of presentation.
- Monitor product inventory levels and communicate or place order needs.
- Assist in training staff on POS systems and customer service procedures related to food & beverage.
- Review daily sales reports and ensure all transactions have been accounted for. Report all tips.
- Maintain complete knowledge of and strictly adhere to state liquor regulations, particularly in prohibiting service to minors, intoxicated persons, and drunk driving.
- Ensure the retail shop is visually appealing, clean, and well-stocked.
- Oversee retail displays, pricing, and inventory control with attention to revenue generation.
- Coordinate with the front desk team to support rental processes and retail sales.
Front Desk Operations
- Lead and supervise the Front Desk team to ensure efficient check-in/check-out and daily operations, including the pe-register process, block, and take same-day reservations; and when necessary, future reservations follow hotel rate structures, discounts, and sell strategies.
- System matter expert in the PMS.
- Foster a warm and welcoming environment that prioritizes guest satisfaction.
- Resolve guest concerns promptly and proactively implement feedback-driven improvements.
- Serve as the primary contact for guest inquiries, issues, and escalations with professionalism and empathy
- Keep Team Members informed about daily operations, events, and company updates.
- Maintain working knowledge of Property Management Systems (PMS) and manage shift reporting.
- Ensure all calls, Guest comments, comment cards, and Guest surveys are properly recorded and closed. Use reports to analyze Guest problems and work to reduce and resolve such issues, and take appropriate action to ensure 100% Guest satisfaction.
- Completes shift end and EOM tasks, including review of guest ledger, inactive accounts with balances, & inventories.
- Monitors delivery of packages for the business and Guests.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and presentation across all guest-facing areas.
- Be familiar with sales strategies; communicate daily with the Group Planning Event Manager.
Guest Experience & Leadership (Support)
- Interview and hire Team Members, train and coach Guest Experience staff on guest service, systems, and brand standards. Guide all Team Members towards success as it relates to customer satisfaction, property business, and financial goals.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training team members in guest services, F&B, and retail.
- Conduct regular team meetings to share updates, reinforce brand standards, and gather input.
- Collaborate on monitoring team scheduling, timekeeping, and compliance with labor laws with other Operations supervisors.
- Conduct performance reviews and disciplinary processes when needed.
- Coordinates and creates schedules weekly based on the occupancy forecast. Schedules are to be approved by the Assistant General Manager and posted each week.
- Provide support to Food & Beverage operation during high-volume times by taking orders, serving, or assisting with prep.
- Ensure Team Members are correctly logging time in and out, entering PTO hours, and following meal period break law. Troubleshoot discrepancies from previous shifts and make corrections as needed.
- Conduct monthly department meetings to review new procedures and solicit input from all Team Members.
- Be knowledgeable of all emergency plans and safety practices, and know how to act upon them.
- Partner with AGM/GM and People & Culture (HR) to manage disciplinary issues with discretion, confidence, and in a compassionate manner.
- Assist the department with covering/working last-minute call-offs.
- Performs any other duties as requested by the Assistant General Manager/Operations Manager and the General Manager, and acts as MOD when assigned.
