Senior Project Manager & Business Operations
Salary not disclosed
Salt Lake City, UT 3 days ago

IRONDELTA is a steel erection company specializing in pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB) with some structural steel. We’re looking for a leader who can estimate, build relationships, secure new work, read contracts without crying, and help run the business.

This is not a typical PM job. This is for someone who can think like a builder, strategist, and partner while still staying connected to the field. If you’re the type who can think strategically AND still handle the day-to-day stuff without acting like you’re too important to pick up the phone, we want you.

You will NOT be doing this alone. We already have a Field Project Manager handling daily jobsite activity, field needs, questions, coordination, and the small but important details.

That means your job is to focus on estimating, operations, company growth, and high-level project management.

You guide, coordinate, and keep the company moving in the right direction.

What You’ll Actually Do

1. Estimating & Growing the Company (Top Priority)

• Bid PEMB + steel projects

• Build accurate proposals and scopes

• Review contracts, schedules, exclusions, and terms

• Network with GCs, owners, and industry partners

• Follow up on bids and pursue new opportunities

• Help fill and maintain a strong project pipeline

• Identify future work and support long-term growth

• Strengthen IRONDELTA’s reputation and relationships in the industry

2. Project Management

• Build schedules and keep everyone aligned

• Watch job health: man hours, budget trends, materials, equipment

• Communicate with GCs, owners, and the office

• Solve issues in the field with the Field PM

• Conduct site visits (not every day — you have support)

• Provide oversight to ensure safe, clean, high-quality job sites

3. Company Operations

• Work closely with our Business Operations Manager (you say what and when; she makes the magic happen)

• Communicate milestones, progress, and approved changes for billing

• Improve systems to make field + office flow better — or create new ones if the old ones suck

• Forecast manpower and workload

• Support process development as IRONDELTA scales

4. Leadership

• Support crews without micromanaging

• Mentor and motivate field and office staff

• Promote accountability and teamwork

• Keep documentation accurate and updated

What You Need

• Strong PEMB knowledge — roof & wall sheeting, framing, welding, decking, insulation, trim, etc.

• Ability to read drawings and solve field challenges

• Good communication and follow-through

• Leadership without being a jerk

• Solid problem-solving ability

• OSHA 30 preferred (or willing to get it)

• Must be drug-free and eligible to work in the U.S.

• A reliable truck (you’ll receive $700/Month)

Compensation & Benefits

$90,000–$100,000 DOE

• PTO accrual

• Paid holidays

• Travel per diem + paid lodging

• Company card + fuel

• Voluntary 401(k) after one year

• Dental, vision, and life insurance

• Short- & long-term disability

Why IRONDELTA?

We’re a small, growing company where your work truly matters.

There’s no red tape, no corporate nonsense, and no layers of pointless approval.

  • If you want to make an impact, help grow something real, and be part of a team that values honesty, hard work, humor, and good people — let’s talk.

Executive Assistant to a Series Founder | Austin | $150-$180,000
Salary not disclosed
Austin, TX 2 days ago

The short version

One of Austin's most connected founders is building something serious.

He operates across multiple ventures. All of them are insane.

His network is extraordinary. His pace is relentless. And he needs an EA who can keep up.

This role has Chief of Staff written all over it.

The longer version

Let's be honest about what this job actually is.

You are not joining a corporate machine. There is no committee to escalate decisions to. There is no nine-to-five rhythm. You are the operational nerve centre for a founder who moves fast, thinks big, and has a calendar full of people who matter.

Think venture partners, policy leaders, authors, media executives, and the kind of entrepreneurs who are shaping what comes next. The access you will have through this role is the kind that most EAs spend a career trying to earn.

But access comes with expectation.

He needs someone who can orchestrate complex schedules across multiple organisations without dropping the ball. Someone who prepares briefings that actually change how a meeting goes. Someone who writes on his behalf and sounds like him, not like a robot. Someone who manages relationships with the discretion and warmth of a trusted gatekeeper, not a bouncer.

This is not a role for someone who waits to be told what to do. It's a role for someone who figures it out.

The world you're walking into

Your principal is building at the centre of one of the most fascinating Cities in America, creating opportunities, building very real things with very real people.

The people in his orbit would make you sit up. And you'll be the one managing the access.

What you'll actually be doing

Complex diary and travel management across multiple ventures and time zones.

Drafting correspondence, briefing documents, and communications on behalf of your principal.

Managing relationships with investors, partners, and senior stakeholders.

Owning the logistics of events, from intimate dinners to large-scale gatherings.

Filtering, prioritising, and ensuring nothing important slips.

Being the eyes and ears when your principal cannot be in the room.

And yes, the other stuff. Because great EAs don't think anything is beneath them.

Who you are

You've supported a founder, CEO, or senior executive before, and you're not precious about it. You understand that serving someone at this level is a craft, not a compromise.

You're calm under pressure. Fast without being sloppy. You write well. You read the room. You protect your principal's time like it's your own.

You're probably the smartest person in most rooms but would never say so.

You understand that elite EA work is fundamentally about judgment. When to ask. When to act. When to push back.

Why this role is different

The EA who thrives here won't just manage a calendar. They'll become indispensable to how this founder operates. They'll see how deals get done, how communities get built, how influence actually works.

This is a launchpad. Chief of Staff potential for the right person.

Location

Austin, Texas. On-site, five days a week. This is a physical operation, and being present is the point.

Director of Construction - Data Centers
✦ New
Salary not disclosed
Hudson, WI 5 hours ago

Title: Director of Construction & Operations (Integrator)

Location: Hudson, WI + National Travel

Compensation: $135k-$165k Base + Performance Bonus up to 100% of Salary (based on Net Income goals)

The Opportunity: We are a specialized construction and manufacturing firm powering the world’s data centers. We are a lean, high-performance team of 4 people generating $10M in annual revenue. We punch way above our weight class.

We are looking for a Director of Construction who has the chops to sit in the Integrator seat. You will not just be managing projects; you will be running the engine of the company. You will partner directly with the Owner (the Visionary) to take high-level goals and translate them into executed reality.

Our Scope:

  • Security Caging: Not your typical fence. We build them like Fort Knox. From underfloor slab to overhead decking, cutting and plating around conduits to minimize any gaps in a live data center. Our cages are scrutinized and audited by the client with strict security requirements. Miss a bolt, they'll notice.
  • Containment: Cold Aisle or Hot Aisle we don't discriminate. We are well versed at working with multiple manufacturers that our clients want installed.
  • Conveyance: Single Tier, Two Tier, Three Tier, we'll install it.

Who You Are:

  • A Builder: You have deep experience in construction, preferably in mission-critical or data center environments. You know how to manage subcontractors, estimate complex jobs, and keep safety non-negotiable. Most importantly, you know intimately how this stuff physically goes together.
  • A Problem Solver: You don't panic when the material is late or the sub backs out. You aggressively find the solution, re-sequence the work, and communicate the reality to the client. You run toward the fire, not away from it.
  • An Integrator: You love structure. While the Visionary has 10 new ideas a week, you filter them, prioritize them, and ensure the team executes the best ones. You are the "tie-breaker" for the leadership team and the "steady hand" for the staff.
  • A Scaler: You understand that to grow from $10M to $30M, we cannot just "work harder." We need better systems, better vendor relationships, and a wider network of subcontractors.
  • A Doer: We've got responsible in-house PM's, but you'll be building out the field and execution, wearing multiple hats as Superintendent one day, DoC the next.

The "Seat" (Responsibilities):

  • LMA (Lead, Manage, Accountable): You will lead the construction division and bridge the gap between the Hudson office and the field. The team reports to you.
  • Project Profitability: You own the P&L for the division. You ensure jobs are estimated correctly and delivered within that budget to combat "job fade."
  • Strategic Account Management: While you aren't cold-calling, you are the face of the company for our key clients. You ensure they are thrilled so they hand us the next contract automatically. You are always looking for the next opportunity to keep the team running efficiently.
  • Subcontractor Strategy: Build and maintain a bench of reliable subs to allow us to scale labor up and down as needs dictate.

Why You Might NOT Like This Job:

  • We are small. We do not have an HR department or a massive IT support team. If the printer breaks or a truck needs an oil change, you might have to handle it.
  • The "Road Warrior" Reality: This is not a desk job. You will be on the road, on job sites, and in front of customers significantly. If you require a 9-5 routine, this won't work.
  • High Accountability: We run on EOS. There is nowhere to hide. You own your numbers.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in Construction Management (Data Center/Mission Critical/Telecom experience is a massive plus).
  • Proven experience running and owning P&L for a division or small business.
  • Willingness to travel 50%+ as business needs dictate.
  • Experience with EOS (Traction) is preferred; a "systems-mindset" is mandatory.
