We are looking for a skilled Control Panel Builder to join our team in Indianapolis, IN. In this role, you will take ownership of assembling and wiring high‑quality electrical control panels that power a wide range of industrial automation and power distribution systems. You will work hands‑on with circuit breakers, relays, and controllers, contributing directly to the reliable performance of equipment used across multiple industries.
This position requires direct employment.
We do not consider C2C (Corp-to-Corp) or 1099 contract arrangements.
Job Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and layouts to ensure accurate panel assembly and functionality.
- Perform testing and troubleshooting of control panels, verify proper operation and compliance with all safety and quality standards.
- Support shop operations, including inventory management, material requests, scheduling, shipping/receiving, and maintenance of tools.
- Collaborate with clients and engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during fabrication.
- Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills in electrical and instrumentation work, while adapting to changing priorities and project requirements.
- Demonstrate resilience under pressure, accountability within a team environment, and a results-driven, self-motivated approach.
- Exhibit excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and presentation), strong organizational abilities, and proficiency with computer systems.
Qualifications
- Electrical Technician Certification or an equivalent credential preferred, High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience building and assembling electrical control panels.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics for systems operating at 24 VDC, 120 VAC, and 480 VAC.
- Working knowledge of PLC systems & platforms; Allen Bradley, Siemens, Rockwell, or Schnider preferred.

Position Overview
SEG is seeking a motivated, detail oriented Inside Sales Support Representative to assist in growing sales of custom UL508A/698 control and relay panel solutions. This role supports business development efforts by preparing accurate quotations, coordinating with engineering and production teams, and ensuring timely, customer-focused service. Key Responsibilities
- Support sales growth through prompt evaluation of quotation opportunities and development of solutions that address specific customer needs using technical and electrical expertise.
- Prepare quotations, perform project costing, and assist with project kick-off activities once orders are received.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to develop accurate and competitive quotes for custom control panel solutions.

- Drive follow-up on active opportunities with manufacturers’ representatives and sales partners by:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering a plus or minimal of 3+ years of experience with UL508/698 control, relay panels.
- Strong understanding of UL508A/UL698 standards and general industrial, automation control & relay panels construction preferred.
- Demonstrated experience using structured proposal and quotation processes; ability to maintain momentum and solve problems in imperfect or fast-paced environments.
- Industrial Technology, Automation, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, and control, relay panel layouts.

Position Responsibilities:

- Align and adjust the silk screen to achieve proper contact and registration, applying paint using the squeegee method.
- Layout, locate, and apply lettering on various instrument panels using silk screening and related processes.
- Liaise with the Decal Area and other departments to coordinate changes, distribution of decals, and maintain perpetual inventory.

- Perform rework and touch-ups on decorative interior parts using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Handle and dispose of hazardous materials in compliance with safety regulations.
- Maintain records of work performed and refile work packets in the ink room filing cabinet.

- Utilizes manual and automated lifting devices while adhering to product safety specifications.
- Pull, crimp, install, and test wiring and wiring harnesses.
- Keeps inventory personnel abreast of spare parts inventory and locations for ease of order fulfillments.
- Performs part replacement on tools as needed and according to schedule.
- Resolves routine questions and problems, referring more complex issues to higher levels.
- Works under direct, close supervision, with output monitored frequently.
- Follows mostly routine, standardized procedures to accomplish assigned tasks.

General OB and GYN services, procedures
Vaginal and c-section deliveries
OR block availability
