* Responsibilities: Be able to Prepare and Review business and personal tax returns for small business clients from initial meeting through delivery and filing of returns (Basic data entry of the tax return will already be done for you by our offshore team) Communicate with clients about required missing tax documents to finalize Tax Returns You'll be submitting the prepared/reviewed tax returns to the Tax Manager for their final review.

Clear comments assigned by Tax Manager Meet with the client before the final sign off of the tax return to go over the numbers with them and answer any questions they may have.

Ensure that the tax planning strategies identified by the Tax Manager has been applied to the tax returns You want to get promoted to a Tax Manager Role in a year or two.

You have a solid understanding of how the tax code works You'd have an opportunity to learn tax planning strategies for our clients and learn how you can help a client save tens of thousands in taxes even if they are currently working with a CPA Firm.

You should have most of the following: Must currently have a job in public accounting Must have extensive experience in preparing Business (1120S & 1065) and Personal (1040) tax returns in a public accounting firm currently Experience in supervising a staff Attention to detail, strong organizational skills A CPA license, an enrolled agent is highly preferred.
