As Sr. Safety Specialist, you will join forces with the Manager of Safety and Loss Prevention to head up workplace safety initiatives for one of our distribution center operations! You will...

• Work with integrity and the utmost regard for the safety and health at HelloFresh
• Provides subject matter expertise either through education, training, and/or experience in multiple areas including environmental management, compliance, occupational safety, risk management and/or occupational health
• Ensure OSHA compliance within a HelloFresh/Green Chef Facility including but not limited to: Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT's); New Hire safety training and ongoing safety training; Lockout/Tagout, Machine Guarding and Chemical Safety; all necessary recordkeeping and reporting including OSHA 300 Logs
• Assist management team during accident or injury investigations and root cause analysis
• Act as the management team's subject matter expert for safety and security questions
• Ensure visibility of HSE initiatives at the site level (Behavior Safety, Safe Work Permit process, Safety Observations, Near Miss, etc) to all levels of operations management and recommend improvements in effectiveness. Demonstrate sound judgment based on observations and evaluation, by site, to determine safety meeting effectiveness and appropriate level of mentoring for safety meeting facilitators. Collect and analyze data to identify safety or injury trends and develop corrective actions
• Ensure contractors and visitors follow HelloFresh safety policies during their time on-site
• Assist with the site emergency action plan and liaison with local first responders when needed
• Conduct a Job Safety Analysis (JSA) of all routine and non-routine tasks performed on-site
• Promote safer forklift operations through training, observation and coaching operators
• Develop training materials including toolbox talks, standard operating procedures (SOP's) and others
• Manage the relationship with site security and ensures security services are being provided for each DC
• Assist with inventory shrinkage and other deliberate damage/product theft investigations as needed
• Support other departments including quality, food safety, production and logistics as needed

Inside Sales Representative - Safety and fall protection equipment (B2B only)

Location: Rochester, NY

Client is a global manufacturer of custom fabricated safety equipment such as fall protection anchor points, rails, guards, etc.

Position is B2B and begins as inside sales supporting the national sales manager, with career development into major/key account management.

Customer base:

• Commercial/industrial construction
• Industrial/manufacturing operations
• Construction or rebuilding utiliites/power generation

Example backgrounds: Fasteners, ties, concrete/forms, trusses, commercial roofing, rigging/cranes, fall protection and safety products, commercial buildings and building materials, commercial HVAC, electrical or lighting, etc.

KEY THINGS (must have or won't be considered)

• Experience to include 2+ years of B2B sales of products - ideally engineered - into industries noted above

Responsibilities:

• Provide inside sales and customer support in partnership with the U.S. Sales Manager, including handling leads, quotes, and follow‑up.
• Develop relationships with local customers, building a pipeline of work with new and existing customers
• Develop a relationship with larger/key accounts in the U.S., acting as account manager full cycle account manager (this is still primarily inside; some individual visits possible)
• Work with customers to ensure best value for them and for company using company's custom engineering and fabrication capabilities.
• Learn product and service offerings and grow to be a resource relying on a sonsultative sales approach with the larger/key accounts.
• Tracking entire process with company CRM/ERP system .
• Work both company‑provided qualified leads and self‑generated leads; actively pursue both.

Requirements:

• Some B2B sales experience selling into "items", ideally needing some technical expertise, construction, cranes/rigging, tools, safety/fall protection, manufacturing or the like.
• Strong safety mindset – you will represent safety products!
• Some experience with consultative selling, not strictly “off the shelf” or bulk transactions.
• Excellent communication skills - on sites, with customers, in presentations, etc

Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support operations in our Houston, TX facility. The ideal candidate will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize manufacturing processes, and support new product development while ensuring safety, quality, and cost-efficiency across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Propose, coordinate, and implement projects related to safety, quality, cost reduction, continuous improvement, and new product development.
• Manage and report on the site cost-out improvement process.
• Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve manufacturing productivity across the facility.
• Train, coach, and mentor project owners on Lean manufacturing tools, statistical methods, and process management systems.
• Evaluate manufacturing challenges and recommend solutions based on economic return and plant layout compatibility.
• Conduct manufacturing methods studies to determine optimal processes and workflows.
• Support manufacturing processes involving:
• Sheet metal operations (stamping, bending, welding, powder coating)
• Machining operations (CNC & manual)
• Electrical product assembly
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure new product designs maximize manufacturing efficiency.
• Identify and recommend new equipment and manufacturing technologies to improve production.
• Plan and support facility changes including plant layout and material flow improvements.
• Prepare capital appropriation requests and support capital investment planning.
• Develop operational procedures, manufacturing routings, and production standards.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives using Lean principles such as Kaizen, 5S, and Six Sigma.
• Partner with EHS teams to ensure compliance with machine guarding and electrical safety standards.

Basic Qualifications
