Security Guard is able to perform a variety of fixed-post, mobile, or foot patrols while maintaining situational awareness and making decisions and/or taking actions consistent with established post orders, facility rules, guidelines and protocols. Escort individuals or vehicles in accordance with post orders, rules, regulations, guidelines and protocols.

Use portable radios, phones, or other communication devises appropriately and according to established rules.

Monitor all APSI and client equipment; guard against loss or damage; report any such loss or damage immediately to a supervisor or manager.

Log in Property Pass numbers for authorized property/equipment movements.

Ensure the security of government property, detaining personnel, and reporting anyone involved with unauthorized property/equipment removal.

Conduct regular patrols and inspections of buildings and facilities

Issue required vehicle passes to authorize personnel.

Monitor electronic access control and report violations

Monitor radio-frequency identification (RFID) systems and respond to alarms indicating unauthorized removal of government property.

Grant access to areas during non-working hours to authorized personnel in accordance with the established procedure and access lists.

Monitor facility equipment and utility systems and report deficiencies to personnel responsible for repairs.

Perform random surveillance of buildings for the detection of unauthorized or inappropriate activity.

Perform random surveillance of fence line for breaches and the detection of unauthorized removal of government property, illegal or inappropriate activity.

Maintain activity logs and administrative documents as required by contract.

Contact, assist, and cooperate with local, state, or federal law enforcement; locate, retain, and protect necessary evidence; testify as necessary in judicial and administrative proceedings.

Primary responsibilities include the full breadth of personal financial counseling services to military service members and their families at military installations. • Periodic evening, early morning, or occasional weekend work to support school events, special programs, or operational needs.

Physical Requirements:

• Stand and move throughout a commercial kitchen for extended periods.
• Perform repetitive motions; reach, bend, and stoop as needed.
• Lift, push, or pull items and equipment up to 30 pounds.
• Work in hot, cold, and variable temperature environments.
• Climb step stools or ladders to access storage areas.
• Visually inspect food, labels, temperatures, and safety conditions.
• Tolerate moderate to high noise levels.
• Use manual dexterity to operate kitchen equipment and a computer.
• Read, follow written instructions, complete documentation and communicate clearly with others.

Qualifications:

• 1 + years of cooking experience.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
• Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols, food temperature requirements, kitchen appliances, equipment, and tools.
• Microsoft Office 365 – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Suite, Apple Products.
• Completion of food safety or sanitation training (e.g., ServSafe or equivalent), preferred.
• Experience working in a commercial or institutional kitchen (e.g., school, healthcare, childcare, or cafeteria setting).
• Experience following food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards (e.g., ServSafe-aligned practices).
• Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment (e.g., ovens, slicers, dishwashers).
• PIC Serv Safe Certification, preferred.
• Active State Board of Education Rapback Enrollment, preferred.
• Allergen Awareness Training or Certification, preferred.
• CPR and First Aid Certification, preferred.
