As a non-transport provider, the EMT-B's primary tasks are to initiate emergency and non-emergency basic life support care to ill and injured guests and team members, assist ALS personnel, and respond to medical/trauma calls in an amusement park setting. All EMT-Bs need to have a strong work ethic and must be able to operate within I.D.P.H. Region X's EMT-B scope of practice.

The X-ray technician performs all x-ray procedures while under the general supervision of a licensed practitioner, for the purposes of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and within the scope of their license and according to established standards and practices of the American College of Radiology (ACR).
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Performs all x-ray procedures with appropriate application of technical and positioning protocols, safety procedures, radiation protection and proper image identifying criteria according to department policy and procedure.
- Verifies physician orders for instructions from requesting physician and consults with the radiologists.
- Preps patient for exam. Explains procedure and provides education as appropriate.
- Performs equipment warm up, calibration and safety check as needed. Operates hospital computer system. Reports to supervisor any equipment malfunctions. Operates equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines for appropriate quality control.
- Minimizes radiation to patient and staff by practicing radiation protection techniques.
- Maintains production and quality of x-rays by following established standards and procedures; developing x-rays; observing x-ray results; determining necessary adjustments for optimum results; retaking x-rays as required; forwarding completed studies to radiologist for interpretation.
- Responsible for departmental records. Accurately and promptly documents in departmental records (film, file, and computer) patient name, exam date, film/image markers, clinical history, complaints, allergies, etc.
- Reports reactions, complications, changes in condition etc. to radiologist, physician, supervisor, peers and nursing unit.
- Assists management with an effective quality and process improvement program for all areas of responsibility. Participates in volume reporting, productivity reporting, quality improvement data, and maintaining appropriate documentation for regulatory agencies.
- Maintains a cost efficient supply of inventory, which minimizes department expense while ensuring appropriate stock levels.
- Ensures operation of x-ray equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
- Acts as a steward for quality process improvement and resource management.

Job Duties
- Perform a series of manual adjustments to the spine, or other articulations of the body, in order to correct the musculoskeletal system.
- Evaluate the functioning of the neuromusculoskeletal system and the spine using systems of chiropractic diagnosis.

SUMMARY:
Under the supervision and in support of the Midwifery Coordinator, the Women’s Health Program Manager supports and enhances the activities of the practice by providing administrative support and coordinating daily operations. This position also oversees the Family Planning program and ensures that program requirements are being met.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· This is an on-site, in-person position.
· Embraces and assures that department goals are aligned with Alivio Medical Center’s mission, goals and objectives.
· Review pregnancy test counseling, ensuring that it is in compliance with Family Planning guidelines to be neutral, factual, and non-directive.
· Coordinates the quarterly family planning chart review/audit.
· Directly supervises program staff.
· Reviews and approves department timesheets and time-off requests.

· Creates monthly OB/CNM clinic schedules.

· Works in collaboration with Finance Department to complete and submit Family Planning Annual Report.
· Responsible for maintaining inventory of contraceptives and processing purchase requisitions.
· Participates in Family Planning webinars and educational/training opportunities provided by National Training Centers, as appropriate.
· Prepares for and coordinates site visits/program reviews.
· Coordinates the review and implementation of family planning sliding fee scale annually.
· Develop, revise and/or update guidelines and handouts for Family Planning as needed for program compliance, and reviews them with program staff.
· Organize, at minimum, quarterly Family Planning staff meetings. Orient new Family Planning staff to program and duties.
· Conduct monthly Information & Education Committee/Community Advisory Group meetings. Implement, evaluate, and participate in community outreach activities, including at least one health fair or outreach event per year to promote the Family Planning program.
· Initiate contacts at aldermanic offices and community agencies, etc., to inform of and promote the program, and to recruit participants for I & E/CAG.
· Works with the Development Dept to submit the Family Planning grant every year and the relevant reports. Check progress of goals in workplan at least every 6 months. Make sure time & effort is being documented and allocated correctly.
· Utilize technology and social media platforms to provide information about the Family Planning program and about reproductive and sexual health.
· Assists with and/or facilitates staff trainings as appropriate.
· Attends committee meetings as appropriate for position/role and/or as directed by CMO.
· Keeps track of prenatal patients’ enrollment into prenatal care, date, location and type of delivery. Provides reports to leadership team as requested.
· Works closely with Case Managers to ensure the newborns are scheduled for an appointment with an Alivio provider.
· Reviews and analyzes birth statistics
· Works closely with CMO on ensuring appropriate data is collected for reporting to regulatory agencies (i.e. HRSA, Joint Commission, State of IL, etc).
· Performs other related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
The registered nurse (RN) is accountable for the coordination of nursing care, including direct patient care, patient/family education and transitions of care. The RN supports professional nursing practice across practice settings and across the continuum of care to meet the needs of the patient and family. The RN will function within the Mayo Clinic Nursing Professional Practice Model, which includes accountability for planning, implementing, evaluating and communicating all phases of nursing care for assigned patients. The ANA Nursing: Scope and Standards of Practice provide a basis for the practice of the RN. The RN provides leadership through activities such as preceptor role, informal and formal leadership roles, and quality improvement efforts. The RN delegates patient care according to skill level, experience, patient acuity, fiscal accountability and availability of resources. The RN possesses excellent communication skills; is skillful in mentoring and teaching; and may participate on committees or projects. A subset of employees may be required to drive their personal vehicle as a part of the responsibility of their role.

Qualifications
Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program, as recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA). If graduated from a nursing program that was not accredited by ACEN, CCNE, or NLN CNEA, at least one year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is required.
All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date of April 1, 2020 and after must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program within five years from the last day of the month of the RN start date.
All entry-level associate degree registered nurses with a RN start date prior to April 1, 2020 must provide documented evidence of program completion of the baccalaureate degree in nursing from an accredited nursing program as stipulated by the degree requirement program in place at time of hire.
One year of RN experience in an applicable care setting or one year of current LPN experience at Mayo Clinic is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Computer skills required, prior experience with electronic medical record systems preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends and on-call.
- Ability to adapt to unpredictable situations within the work setting.
- Demonstrated leadership, effective communicator, and excellent critical thinking skills.
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) must be valid for 90 days post start date from American Heart Association: “BLS Provider” or American Red Cross: “Basic Life Support” or “CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers.”
- BLS required upon hire.
- ACLS & FCCN required after hire.
- Hem/Onc/BMT, PCU experience preferred.
