Job Summary and QualificationsUnder the supervision of the Radiologist and supervisor, performs diagnostic and therapeutic angiographic procedures for patients ages adolescents through geriatric. Generates appropriate paperwork including requisitions, film jackets, charges and provides a complete history of patient. Responsible for maintaining expert technical and patient-care skills and provide quality diagnostic results. Responsible for supply/inventory management.
What qualifications you will need:
- Completion of an AMA approved Radiology Technology training program.
- Current certification by ARRT with advanced certification in Interventional Radiology (IR). Must maintain current registry. BLS required. Attends continuing education activities to maintain knowledge and skill level.
- Prefer 2 years recent hospital angiographic interventional experience. Skills commensurate with formal training required.

Completes a minimum of (2) peer reviews on an annual basis according to Network Managers request and study required for review.
Reviews and prepares the daily schedule with the Ultrasound Manager or Patient Care Coordinator at the beginning of each shift.
Gathers all patient Radiology file folders, reports and impression sheets for the day’s schedule.
Responsible for pulling Radiology file folders as needed throughout the day.
Observes file room protocols for film sign out and return, and film jacket set-ups.
