Essential Functions (Job Duties):Position Purpose: Perform a variety of landscape maintenance tasks in order to preserve and maintain the University grounds and athletic fields. Perform other maintenance services which include snow removal activities during the winter months to ensure safe drive and public passage ways for University staff, students and visitors.
Essential Job Functions: Perform a wide variety of tasks related to the maintenance, and upkeep of University grounds and facilities. Use appropriate landscaping methods to care for, preserve and water plants; sod, seed and fertilize lawns; prepare beds and properly install appropriate plant material; apply pesticides as necessary. Properly prune trees and shrubs. Provide maintenance for annuals and perennials, water lawns and other plantings as needed. Properly mow, edge, and trim lawns with appropriate tools, operate equipment properly so as to avoid injury to self and others.
Clean-up and maintain University grounds. Pick up litter from grass, along fences and around trees; remove rubbish from outdoor areas; empty outdoor garbage cans which may contain large amounts of trash and/or water; rake and/or blow grass clippings and leaves; set up and operate sprinklers; remove debris from malls and other outdoor areas. Perform clean-up and maintenance of interior areas as required. Remove cigarettes from outdoor receptacles and ground areas. Change sand in snuffers as needed.
Properly care for and service power operated equipment used for groundskeeping activities. Check fuel, oil and battery fluid levels; add or change same as necessary; change tires; install, remove, oil, grease and adjust groundskeeping equipment and/or attachments; wash and/or steam clean equipment and attachments. Perform preventative maintenance utilizing hand and/or power tools, such as sharpening blades, and minor repairs not requiring the services of a mechanic.
Maintain athletic fields to specification. Properly grade, drag and/or roll playing surfaces; use wet or dry marker to lay out marker lines for football, track, pole volt, high jump and other athletic events. Assist in handling and storing of equipment; clean up playing fields and viewing stands after sporting events. Promptly report all safety and maintenance issues.
Remove snow and ice during winter months using appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of students, staff and visitors. Use shovels, sweepers, plows and/or trucks to clear sidewalks, driveways and paths of snow and/or ice; spread salt on surfaces as appropriate; break ice as necessary to ensure safety of students, staff and visitors.
Maintain safe working conditions at all times by using supplies and equipment properly and taking necessary precautions. Remove all equipment and debris from work areas; work outdoors and in inclement weather; complete tasks requiring work in different positions and at different angles. Promptly report all safety and maintenance issues.
All Groundskeepers are considered to be \"Essential Personnel,\" and are required to report during a university emergency closure period. Perform clean-up and maintenance of all facilities as required; performs other duties as assigned, including those of lower level classification.
Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Reasonable experience performing commercial groundskeeping in all seasons. Technical training in horticulture or related field. Must obtain State certification as a pesticide applicator within 90 days of hire and maintain proficiency. Ability to lift and/or move heavy groundskeeping supplies and equipment. Ability to transport, use and maintain the full range of groundskeeping equipment including hand and power mowers, edgers, shovels, plows, sweepers, sprinklers, fertilizers and equipment, line markers, etc. Some knowledge of proper methods of pruning, mowing and other tasks necessary to maintain the grounds. Possession and maintenance of a valid Michigan vehicle operator's license and satisfactory driving record as determined by University policy. Ability to work in varying environmental conditions utilizing appropriate safety precautions and procedures. Must obtain security clearance. Able to work mandatory overtime when necessary.

Job Summary:
Machine Operation: Operate and maintain machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines to produce parts according to specifications.
Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements and ensure accurate machining.

Specific Responsibilities:
- With minimum assistance from Lead, the operator will perform all standard set up within standard time on router; operating, troubleshooting, and machine service as required.
- Adjust machining parts, tooling, including sharpening tools on surface grinders or pedestal grinders.
- Set-up and operation of equipment - Multiple Spindle (Davenport/Chucker).

Plan, set-up, and perform a variety of processes to maintain the flow of work to manufacture heat exchangers, water separators and other environmental control system components while practicing and complying with environmental health and safety directions and procedures.
What You Will Do:
- Plan, set-up, prepare and perform fabrication, assembly, test and associated precision fabrication processes.
- Plan, set-up and operate a variety of tools and equipment such as power presses, band saws, belt sanders, expanders, and power shears to cut, form, trim, fit, roll, bend, drill and saw material to fabricate detail parts following established methods and procedures.
- Plan, set-up, and perform resistance spot welding and salt braze processes.
- Operate a variety of conventional and CNC/NC equipment to perform milling, drilling and turning operations to established methods and procedures.
- Plan, set-up, edit programs, and operate various presses and lasers to cut and form details.
- Plan, set-up, and perform pressure, leakage and functional tests.
- Plan, set-up and operate furnaces for processes such as drying, annealing, aging and curing product.
- Receive, unload, check, record, prepare, inventory, store, disburse, and deliver a variety of materials, products and equipment.
- Maintain rough stores, cribs, gage cabinets, and point of use storage areas. Order, organize, and store such items as supplies, materials, chemicals and tools.
- Safety wire, prepare product, make and apply nameplates and package for shipment.
- Fabricate and repair containers.
- Participate in review, analysis and ordering of purchased parts and materials to ensure appropriate inventory levels. Communicate with suppliers on delivery and quality concerns.
- Review open purchasing and shop part requirements. Review regularly with internal suppliers and purchasing. Coordinate and expedite deliveries as required.
- Perform visual, dimensional and functional inspection using variable measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers and checking fixtures.
- Mix and apply bonding agents, coatings and chemicals.
- Check calibration of gages, instruments and equipment in accordance with established procedures. Record and document as required.
- Prepare test pieces and micros using equipment such as grinders, cutters, sanders, polishers and mounting presses.
- Sharpen or modify tools, make up simple forming dies, tooling and templates.
- Perform periodic maintenance such as cleaning and lubricating fixtures and equipment, adding fluids, charging filters and tightening hardware.
- Participate in audits of processes, procedure and work areas.
- Use computers and office equipment to record and process transactions.
- Utilize and maintain all necessary documentation such as logs, reports, charts, sampling plans, statistical process control records and nonconformance documents.
- Instruct one or two fellow employees in proper performance of duties.
- Utilize statistical methods to monitor process control and capability. Use data to investigate areas for potential process improvement.
- Improve processes and solve problems in cooperation with fellow employees and technical support.
- Move parts and materials to designated locations in accordance with material flow procedures, and initiate follow-up lists.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler. Prepare product. Receive and process telephone orders. Take inventory and complete associated paperwork. Clean equipment and facility daily. Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions. Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must be able to make correct monetary change. Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed. Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Deliver product by car and then to door of customer. Deliver flyers and or door hangers. Navigational skills to read a map, locate address within designated delivery area. Must navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes and other delivery sites while carrying product. Must submit to a background check and drug test. Physical Requirements including, but not limited to the following: Standing Most tasks are performed from a standing position. Walking For short distances for short durations. Surfaces include ceramic tile bricks with linoleum in some food process areas. Height of work surfaces is between 36 and 48. Sitting Paperwork is normally completed in an office at a desk or table. Lifting Bulk product deliveries are made twice a week or more and are unloaded by the team member using a hand truck. Deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds with dimensions of up to 3' x 1.5'. Cases are usually lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72 high. Carrying Large cans, weighing 3 pounds, 7 ounces, are carried from the workstation to storage shelves. Occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 pounds is carried from the storage room to the front of the store. Trays of pizza dough are carried three at a time over short distances, and weigh approximately 12 pounds per tray. Pushing To move trays which are placed on dollies. A stack of trays on a dolly is approximately 24- 30 and requires a force of up to 7.5 pounds to push. Trays may also be pulled. Climbing Team members must infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, perform maintenance.

You'll work closely with Sales Enablement and your Regional Director to master Matterport's sales frameworks, sharpen your outbound skills, deliver strong discovery, and run efficient, consultative sales cycles. As one of the first hires in our expanding Inside Sales organization, you'll help shape the culture, standards, and execution rhythms of a team built to scale. Your mission: create pipeline, convert conversations, close business, and help customers experience the impact of digitizing the built world - fast.
This role is on-site five days a week in Arlington, VA.
Responsibilities- Run a full cycle inside sales process, including prospecting, discovery, demos, pricing, negotiation, and closing.
- Generate your own pipeline, using outbound calls, emails, sequences, and follow-up to reach decision-makers.
- Drive new customer acquisition through a mix of inbound follow-up and outbound prospecting.
- Manage a fast-paced pipeline, balancing new opportunities daily while keeping active deals moving efficiently.
- Conduct high-quality discovery calls, uncovering customer pain points, workflows, and use cases that demonstrate the value of Matterport's platform.
- Deliver polished product demonstrations that map customer needs to Matterport's capabilities and ROI drivers.
- Follow structured sales frameworks to deliver clear, disciplined, high-impact conversations.
- Collaborate with your Regional Director and Sales Enablement for coaching, call reviews, skill development, and rapid improvement.
- Maintain CRM accuracy - updating activities, opportunities, next steps, and forecasting data with precision.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Support) to deliver exceptional customer experience and accelerate deals.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly revenue targets while maintaining high activity and strong conversion rates.
- Represent Matterport with professionalism, continuously reinforcing our values and delivering customer-first engagement.
- 2+ years of B2B sales experience, ideally in inside sales, SaaS, or a high-velocity sales environment.
- Demonstrated success in roles requiring high outbound activity, pipeline generation, and consistent quota attainment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills - confident on the phone, on Teams/Zoom, and in demos.
- Experience running short sales cycles, balancing multiple deals, and driving urgency with clarity.
- Highly coachable with a strong desire to improve quickly and master modern sales skills.
- Strong organizational discipline - accurate forecasting, CRM management, and time prioritization.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not for profit, in-person college or university.
- A track record of commitment to prior employers.
- Operates with high degree of integrity.
- Some travel to deepen customer relationships and execute a high-touch sales strategy.
- Experience selling SaaS or technology solutions to AEC, Facilities Management, CRE, Industrial/Manufacturing, Insurance/Restoration, Retail, or related industries.
