Summary/Objective
In keeping with our organization’s goals, the primary purpose of the VP of Business Development is to enhance revenue through an increase in admissions and census at our centers. The VP of Business Development is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to maintain and grow overall volume in core programs while also creating new programs to broaden Paradigm Healthcare’s customer base and improving our reach in the medical community. The VP of Business Development will identify and pursue opportunities consistent with established budgets, goals and objectives and will make recommendations to alter those as is necessary. Essential Functions
The position requires face to face interaction with the internal teams, referral sources and customers. As such this position requires extensive travel.
Responsibilities
- Creates, implements, maintains, and enhances processes for tracking referrals of potential new admissions. Understand what source is generating referrals.
- In collaboration with the company’s CEO and COO, develops census budgets per facility and provides support in creating sales plans to obtain such budgets.
- Develops strategies to maximize admission of residents in accordance with sales plans.
- Identify and maintain key executive relationships in the accounts.
- Provide oversight and direct marketing to hospital accounts assigned.
- Strategically create and maintain processes to shepherd our good name in the marketplace.

The Flight Paramedic extends the healing ministry of Jesus Christ by caring for critically ill and injured persons in the air medical environment. Practice is carried out with a high degree of independence in challenging out-of-hospital environments and at regional health care facilities. The position also has significant responsibility for public relations and involves interacting with a wide range of healthcare and public safety professionals in stressful situations. The position also requires subject matter management skills and independent work on projects to support Flight For Life operations. This position coordinates transport operations/clinical care with the Flight Nurse and Pilot crew members in conjunction with policies and procedures that have been established by Flight For Life Administration, the Flight For Life Medical Director, and Flight For Life’s contracted aviation services (FAA Part 135) operator.
The Flight Paramedic will be assigned a primary Flight For Life base, but may be reassigned to another base within Flight For Life as program needs may dictate. The Flight Paramedic is responsible for other duties as assigned to support program clinical operations. Substantial orientation and ongoing training is devoted to incoming Associates to support their developmental success as the program has rigorous after-hire credentialing requirements, including dual board certification.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of experience working in a moderate to high-volume ALS setting;
greater than five yearsstrongly preferred. Mixed ALS/critical care transport experience preferred. - Current paramedic certification by the State of Texas.
- National Registry Paramedic strongly preferred upon hire, required within one year of hire.
