The School of Computer Science, one of five schools in the top-ten ranked College of Computing, focuses on research that makes computing and communication smart, fast, reliable, and secure, with research groups in computer architecture, databases, machine learning, networking, programming languages & compilers, software engineering, systems, and theory. Job Summary
The School of Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech) in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, invites applications for several tenure track faculty positions at all ranks Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. We seek candidates in all areas of computer science that complement and enhance our current research strengths and are especially interested this year in candidates whose research focus is in the broad areas of software engineering, data systems (database) and analytics, and theoretical computer science.
Responsibilities
As a tenure-track faculty member, a successful candidate will engage in substantive research individually and/or with collaborators in the same or other disciplines. In addition, a successful candidate will be expected to teach one graduate or undergraduate course per semester, in Georgia Tech's Atlanta campus, as well as contribute service to the School and Institute.
Required Qualifications
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science, or a related field (including Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Science, or Computing) by the start of the appointment.
Preferred Qualifications
Applicants must show evidence of outstanding academic research credentials and stellar potential in their field of study, a sincere commitment to teaching, and an interest and ability to promote a welcoming educational/work environment. We seek faculty candidates committed to student success including but not limited to:
- The ability to mentor and assist students interested in pursuing graduate education.

Department Information
The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. The graduate CS program is currently ranked 6th and the undergraduate 5th nationally by U.S. News and World Report. The College consists of five Schools that provide specialized and general computing education to the entire campus. With over 16-degree programs, including its world-renowned online MS in CS, we believe the College to be the largest Computing unit in the United States and, as such, one of the largest producers of computationalist at all levels and of all demographic backgrounds. Department Information
Georgia Tech Research Institute's program seeks students pursuing a High School diploma with an interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math to join our Summer Internship Program. To be eligible for this program, students must have completed the 2024 High School Summer Internship Program Pre-Application prior to January 22, 2024. interns will assist GTRI's researchers with a variety of Research, Fabrication, Analysis, Modeling, Design, Software Development, Hardware Development and Research Support tasks and work in different labs across campus. Students should be interested in learning about research, analysis, fabrication, design, development, and/or assembly of RF, Analog, and Digital systems as defined by unit management.
Job Summary
Under direct supervision, a Research Intern will contribute to projects and/or programs specific to the hiring department. A Research Intern may work across diverse fields related to their field of study or other areas of interest. This role may work in a laboratory setting, closed laboratory, field sites or office. A Research Intern may contribute to projects and/or programs, which may require safety training as a prerequisite. Department Information
The College of Computing was established in 1990 as the first such College at a public university and the second in the United States. Since that time, the college has grown into a world-class leader in research and education. Job Summary
Act as the primary administrative support for a school Chair providing office related services including correspondence and report preparation, maintaining files, meeting arrangements and related functions. May be responsible for setting employee goals, assessing employee performance and providing feedback, and making pay recommendations. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: Chair and Associate Chairs, Dean, School faculty members and staff, students and visitors. This position typically will advise and counsel.

Responsibilities

- Oversee PCard transactions: order supplies, process registrations, and fulfill approved requests for faculty, staff, and students. Ensure all required documentation is submitted and purchases are accurately tracked.
- Plan and coordinate departmental events, including travel arrangements, venue reservations, catering, and equipment needs for both on- and off-campus functions.
- Support faculty recruitment by initiating the interview process and serving as the primary point of contact for candidates.
- Manage the faculty annual review process to ensure compliance with institute requirements.
- Interpret and communicate administrative policies; develop and refine internal procedures in alignment with institute guidelines.
- Utilize the PROMOTE system to manage academic promotion, tenure, research faculty promotion, and critical review processes on behalf of the Chair.
- Coordinate unit purchasing activities, including preparing documentation, ordering supplies, and managing vendor relationships.
- Review and approve correspondence, OneUSG, and Workday transactions on behalf of the Chair.
- Certify monthly time reporting for faculty and staff.

- Respond to emails and manage the Chair's inbox and calendar.

Job Summary
We are looking for applicants with strong expertise in expression and purification of membrane proteins or other challenging protein systems. The successful candidate will contribute to research focused on structure function relationships and mechanisms of biologically important enzymes.
Responsibilities
- Express, purify, and characterize membrane proteins and other difficult-to-handle proteins.
- Design and perform biochemical assays to interrogate enzyme activity and kinetics.
- Analyze metabolites and enzyme products using mass spectrometry based approaches.
- Collaborate on project design, data interpretation, and publication preparation.
- Mentor junior trainees and participate in lab meetings and group activities.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Biology, Biophysics, or related field.
- Demonstrated experience with membrane protein expression and purification (or similarly challenging proteins).
- Knowledge and practical experience in enzymology and analysis of metabolites by mass spectrometry.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with metalloenzymes.
- Prior work with cytochrome P450 enzymes or related oxidative systems.
