The Manufacturing Support Automation & Controls Engineer reports to the Process Improvement Engineering Manager. This position supports/leads flow team directed Manufacturing Excellence activities being conducted at the Trentwood facilities. This position works with facilitators, engineers, manufacturing leaders, craft personnel and operators, as needed with the goal of improving process capability, lowering manufacturing cost, increasing reliability and reducing waste in the operation.

What you will work on:

  • Validate and maintain control system design/architecture for new and existing equipment.
  • Provide support and coordination for equipment start-ups and maintenance outages.
  • Assist in trouble-shooting equipment control and electrical systems.
  • Provide engineering support for the maintenance and operations resources during troubleshooting and RCA activities.
  • Perform controlled process improvement changes in PLC systems, HMI systems, and in level 2 server and coordination systems.
  • Coordinate with vendors, process engineers, and production personnel for continuous improvement.
  • Develop project scope, feasibility, cost estimates, and schedule, for assigned projects.
  • Prepare, organize, and update project documentation (Manuals, PM's spare parts, correspondence, drawings, drawing lists, material listings, etc.)
  • Help support and develop a culture at Kaiser Trentwood that promotes lean thinking and right first time for all work performed.
  • Collaborates with the operational team to develop and report performance metrics against targets to determine gaps in performance and recommends/executes improvement initiatives.
  • Advise the team on improvement opportunities through requirements gathering, data extraction/transformation, organized analysis and effective visualization of information.
  • Drive process consistency through standard work, process control, right first time, and management of change.
  • Comply with all safety, quality and environmental regulations.

What you will bring to the position:

  • An undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • A degree in Computer Engineering combined with industrial experience may substitute for the Electrical Engineering degree.
  • An undergraduate degree in ME Automation with sufficient coursework in automation/robotics may also substitute.
  • Zero to five (0-5) years previous electrical engineering experience.
  • Experience with industrial PLC systems, HMI systems or distributed control systems, or relevant laboratory education.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong PC skills, including Windows, Word, and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to work in teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

The preferred candidate will have knowledge and experience with:

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in the maintenance department of a heavy industrial facility.

Position Summary

The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is a highly knowledgeable, professional, and courteous guide to the world of Rishi Tea & Botanicals responsible for building strong partnerships with new and existing customers within their assigned territory by delivering best-in-class customer service and effectively managing the order lifecycle for these customers. Poised to have frequent communications with the region’s customers, The RAM will play a critical role in supporting sales initiatives with customers, and ensuring customer feedback and insights are captured, documented, and shared with the Regional Sales Manager, and/or the Territory Sales Executive supporting the account. In addition to managing the order lifecycle, the RAM will support the several aspects of the account management activities and database upkeep, such as setting up new customers in our ERP system, and supporting customer sample orders.

Essential Duties & Responsibilites

  • Embody the Rishi mission: To be the authoritative, vanguard practitioner of tea and botanical arts
  • Deliver a consistent, exceptional level of Customer Service to new and existing customers
  • Own the Order lifecycle and tangential information to process wholesale and distributor orders within assigned territory:

-Enter into ERP wholesale and distributor orders and provide customer confirmation within 24 hours of receipt.

-Inform customers of any known OOS items, manage the backorder process for those items, inform customers of estimated back in stock dates, and suggest available substitutions

-If unexpected OOS items are removed from sales orders at time of fulfillment, reach out to the customer to communicate through the backorder process

-Coach customers on our wholesale guidelines for order minimums and free shipping thresholds, and upsell curated suggestions to present options for the customer to reach those thresholds

-Update customers with order ETA and shipment tracking information

-Respond and advise customers on questions relating to product availability, in stock status, product ingredients, customer specific pricing or wholesale pricing

-Coordinate with finance team and Regional Sales Manager prior to releasing orders with any past due balances, or if the entered order would exceed customer credit limit

-Collect LTL (Less than Truck Load) customer receiving requirement information and keep BC and LTL forms accurately updated to reflect this information

-Coordinate order updates with fulfillment and any other necessary parties

  • Support the customer lifecycle for new and existing customers:

-Collect wholesale customer applications and set up accounts in company ERP system (Business Central.)

-Field and support customer calls within territory

-Under advisement from the Regional Sales Manager, support upselling activities, and consultative menu design for wholesale customers

-Support market research to identify customer trends, competitive threats, or potential prospective customers, as requested by the Regional Sales Manager

-Occasional in market support and regional travel with the Regional Team or Marketing Team to support pop up customer events, tastings or tradeshows

  • As assigned in periods of e-commerce sales or high call volume, support scheduled shifts to answer and support consumers who call into rishi customer service line
  • Be the voice of and often the customers first impression of Rishi
  • Accurately and efficiently transact orders received by email, voice, fax, or order portal
  • Accurately modify or cancel orders; communicate order changes to relevant parties
  • Work successfully with other departments to ensure the customer’s requests and/or concerns are accurately addressed (fulfillment, accounting, compliance, sales, R&D)
  • Understand the needs and time sensitivities of VIP and high touch customers
  • Must adhere to all food safety protocols as required by Rishi Tea's food safety management system, as they relate to this position

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a board-certified/board eligible fellowship trained Laryngologist to join an established Laryngology practice as a second partner within a comprehensive Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery department in South Sacramento, California. This is a unique opportunity to expand a very busy regional referral-based practice in laryngology as well as practice general otolaryngology in an integrated health-care system. Our medical center features a state-of-the-art laryngology suite with a complete array of Pentax equipment to support all diagnostic and therapeutic laryngeal procedures including office-based laser surgery. In addition, our laryngologist enjoys the support of a Physician Assistant and Speech Pathologists well-trained in voice disorders and support for laryngeal procedures.


The nine OHNS physicians currently in the department provide a full range of services including general otolaryngology, laryngology/voice, otology/neurotology, endocrine surgery, sleep surgery, rhinology, and head and neck oncologic surgery. We work closely with our colleagues in maxillofacial surgery, thoracic and vascular surgery, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, endocrine, and sleep medicine. Our medical center enjoys a strong affiliation with the University of California at Davis, serving as a teaching hospital for residents in many specialties, including HNS. We are also affiliated with several other residency training programs in HNS, MFS, and Emergency Medicine and are involved with medical student teaching through California Northstate University.

Reproductive Endocrinologists

FREMONT: We are looking to hire 2 full-time physicians to help us expand our REI/IVF practice in the Fremont area. Our service area - the Greater Southern Alameda Area - has OBGYN offices in 3 locations: Fremont, San Leandro, and Union City with 60+ OB/GYN physicians. We support 2 hospitals located in our Fremont and San Leandro campuses, with 1 Labor and Delivery unit in San Leandro. We are a team that values high quality, evidence-based medicine with a commitment to performance improvement work. We deliver approximately 4000 births a year; led by our Hospitalist group and supported by 20+ midwives. Our hospital has a Level 3 NICU and Neonatologists on staff. Our team of specialists includes 5 Perinatologists, 1 Urogynecologist, 2 REI/IVF specialists, 3 MIGS fellowship trained physicians, and 3 Complex Family Planning fellowship trained physicians. We serve a diverse patient population who speak 53 languages and have an established Maternal Child Health Patient Advisory Committee that focuses on health equity. We offer an exciting OB/GYN practice with lots of opportunity to grow as a physician in a supportive environment. All of our new hires have a physician mentor and participate in a robust onboarding program. We also offer an opportunity to participate in teaching and mentoring medical students.


SACRAMENTO:We are looking to hire a full-time physician to help us expand our REI/IVF practice in the Sacramento area. We currently have 2 board-certified physicians, 1 REI-trained PA, and 2 NPs, a close-knit team of support staff (RNs, LVN's, MA's), and a broad network of Kaiser Permanente physician colleagues, including Gyn/Onc, MFM, urogynecology, female pelvic pain, and minimally invasive surgery specialists, and over 94 OB/GYN generalists and 16 OB/GYN NPs in our medical center and satellite campuses. You will be joining a large group of KP Northern California REI specialists. We also have a reproductive urologist available for consultation (TESE/MESA capability).


SAN RAMON: We are looking to hire a full-time physician to help us expand our REI/IVF practice in San Ramon. We currently have two physicians and two REI-trained NPs, a close-knit team of support staff, and a broad network of Kaiser Permanente physician colleagues. You will be joining a large group of KP Northern California REI specialists.


SANTA CLARA: We are looking to hire a full-time physician to help us expand our REI/IVF practice in the South Bay. We currently have 4 board-certified physicians (1 full-time and 3 part-time) and 4 REI-trained NPs, 2 part-time REI trained advice nurses, a close-knit team of support staff (LVN's and MA's), and a broad network of Kaiser Permanente physician colleagues, including Gyn/Onc, MFM, urogynecology, female pelvic pain, and 10 minimally invasive surgery specialists, and 68 OB/GYN generalists and 3 OB/GYN NPs in our medical center and satellite campuses.
