Who we’re looking for

Prototype Department (PD) is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Senior Engineer to join our weld and paint engineering team.

Reporting to the Prototype Development Senior Engineering Manager, the primary responsibility of this role is to lead preparation of tooling, process planning and suppliers during prototype builds to ensure highest quality and on-time vehicle delivery. Including but not limited to quoting, sourcing, CAD modeling, parts list confirmation, scheduling, quality control and supplier management as well as an understanding of weld and paint process and equipment. The person in this role will support the Vehicle Prototype department's objective to support Toyota North America Product Development and Vehicle Evaluation.

What you’ll be doing

The required work is cyclical and will change during a project from early schedule planning to CV build management. The required work will start with early process planning for jigs and tooling. And finish with leading CV build activity for welding and paint processes.

• Grasp key project requirements to set early process targets and strategy.
• In-house process planning considering Safety /Quality / Productivity/ Cost
• Develop and maintain Operation Plan (OP) for in-house process, tooling and vendor activity.
• Clear communication of deliverables to project team and Sr. manager
• Operation Plan tracking in-house process and tooling to meet project goals.
• Attend project meetings and negotiate countermeasures.
• Summarize status and report to upper management weekly.
• Attend prototype vendors for part kento-kai, fixture approval and weekly status meetings.
• Track and follow responsible processes, tooling, and vendor issues to closure.
• Issue and manage in-house tooling spec
• Process offline robot programming.
• Chair meetings with in-house shop and other groups to monitor vehicle build progress.
• Travel to supply base to review parts prior to shipment
• Track and resolve quality problems
• Measure and adjust In-House tooling, N&P check welded sub-assemblies
• Multi-tasking will be required due to activity overlaps
• Supporting build process both at prototype vendor and at PD Weld and Paint line

What you bring

• Must have Bachelor’s degree in engineering ( Mechanical, Electrical, or Weld Engineering ).
• 4+ years of experience working on Toyota vehicle programs in either manufacturing, production engineering, PD, Design or QE.
• Proficient communication skills
• Deep understanding of tooling (design and manufacturing) & Welding and Painting process planning.
• Deep understanding body structure and shell body, welding and painting process.
• Proficient in body accuracy and related measurement equipment, model set, fixture and part scanning.
• Proficient with 3D CAD (Catia) - CATIA/CARROT 3 Robot Offline Programming
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills to act as a representative of NA R&D to TMC, manufacturing, affiliates, and suppliers.
• Ability & willingness to coach and mentor less experienced engineers/co-ops
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, up to 20% of the time.
• Willingness to work overtime up to 25% of the time including weekends

Position Summary:

The Footwear Designer supports the creation and execution of product design, influencing all segments of See Kai Run’s product collections across various sales channels. This position collaborates closely with the Director of Product Design & Development on all tasks related to product creation, including market and trend research, material sourcing, costing, and commercialization. A qualified candidate also has advanced hands-on experience and knowledge of the entire footwear design and construction process. They support the design direction as well as development with a focus on bringing product to market that promotes and supports healthy foot development for children.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Research and deliver on concept development, integrating innovative design approaches with a focus on healthy foot development and compelling consumer storytelling.
• Stay current with fashion trends and competitive landscapes to deliver meaningful product collections under the Director of Product Design & Development's guidance.
• Ideate and produce design sketches, detailed renderings and technical drawings that support the product creation process
• Create comprehensive technical packs that provide precise instructions for manufacturing partners, including 2D drawings, material specifications, color details and construction methods
• Conduct fit tests to evaluate fit of samples and collaborate with development partners to refine designs to ensure optimal fit, comfort and ease of use for the consumer
• Review prototypes and samples, communicate feedback to refine designs and ensure they meet design intent and quality standards
• Partner with the Director of Design & Development to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet pricing targets and quality objectives of the product collections
• Present design concepts and product objectives effectively to convey the inspiration and craftsmanship behind each style and collection
• Travel to overseas manufacturing facilities and supplier sites to participate in critical stages of product development to maintain design intent and achieve production targets
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in footwear design, industrial design or related field
• 3+ years experience in footwear design and development or related field
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, and office software (Microsoft Suite)
• Proven ability to research, analyze and interpret design elements into product construction
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills for building working relationships within teams

Pay Range:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support our growing footwear business. Key Responsibilities

• Order Management: Process wholesale orders accurately; validate pricing and inventory; communicate order status, ETAs, and backorders; coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure timely shipment.
• Inventory Coordination: Create and manage purchase orders; track production and transit timelines; monitor inbound shipments; maintain balanced inventory levels.

• Product Compliance: Track required footwear testing (CPSIA, chemical, labeling); coordinate with vendors and labs; maintain audit‑ready documentation.

• Cross‑Functional Support: Partner with sales, operations, warehouse, and finance teams to resolve issues, support fulfillment, and assist with PO/invoice reconciliation.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, operations, purchasing, or order management (footwear/apparel preferred)
• ERP experience: NetSuite strongly preferred
• Strong attention to detail, especially with style/size/color data
• Clear communication skills with domestic and overseas partners
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Advanced Excel Skills
