WHAT WILL YOU DO
Complete Michelin's Industrial Supply Chain Pipeline Training Program to successfully assume a Supply Chain position.
Acquire knowledge of supply chain including associated processes, systems, methodologies and organization.
Develop practical knowledge of operational and tactical planning at Michelin and other associated industrial processes and systems.
Lead a project or initiative to apply your knowledge and skills to the optimization of a specific process within the supply chain.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
Bachelor's degree and/or 1-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or Industrial Engineering with a supply chain focus.
Proven leadership in team or project settings, including goal setting, task delegation, coaching, and fostering a positive work environment.

Himalaya Wellness USA LTD, a dietary supplement and personal care company, is seeking an experienced and highly driven Director of Supply Chain & Operations to oversee its supply chain for The Americas region (North & South America). This role will manage all aspects of the supply chain including planning, purchasing, distribution, and inventory management to ensure sales continuity in The Americas Region. Additionally, this role will oversee operations at Himalaya’s facility in Sugar Land and any outsourced partners. The Director of Supply Chain & Operations will report to the VP of Operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the overall supply chain and operations strategy.
- Develop and implement an effective strategic supply chain plan.
- De-risk potential supply shortages and identify and validate secondary source vendors.
- Manage demand planning to ensure healthy inventory levels across all geographies.
- Manage relationships with retail distribution centers globally to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of all retail POs.
- Monitor Amazon and other e-commerce fulfillment performance to ensure all orders are shipped on time, in full, and within desired service levels.

THE PURPOSE:
The Supply Chain Planning Manager supports the Logistics & Operations team by ensuring that inbound and outbound operations are balanced and DC/3PL operations are optimized. About The Role
CarMax sources hundreds of thousands of vehicles each year through consumer purchases, auctions, and other channels. Each vehicle goes through a complex journey from acquisition through reconditioning and logistics before it's ready to be sold to customers. Position Summary
The Supply Chain Director is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive supply chain strategy that supports manufacturing operations and new product development. This role collaborates with internal business units to leverage purchasing power, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen supplier partnerships.
The Director leads initiatives to diversify and expand material sourcing, reduce supply constraints, and improve overall supply chain effectiveness. This role also drives continuous improvement efforts, supports new product and process evaluations, and ensures a reliable flow of materials to support organizational growth.
Additionally, this position builds and maintains strong supplier relationships by providing consistent, fair, and timely feedback aligned with organizational values and culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with New Product Development teams to ensure accurate and cost-effective material estimates for new products
- Identify, source, and implement innovative materials and solutions that create a competitive advantage
- Expand and strengthen the supply chain by engaging both existing and new suppliers, including those outside the industry
- Identify long-term supply chain constraints and implement improvement strategies
- Partner with operations to introduce new processes utilizing advanced materials and methods
- Collaborate with internal supply chain leadership to drive operational improvements
- Manage transportation, logistics, freight, and duty compliance while optimizing cost efficiency
- Lead supplier development initiatives in partnership with Quality, including scorecards, performance reviews, continuous improvement efforts, and standardized chargeback processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product management, design, manufacturing engineering, operations, finance, and maintenance to support organizational goals
- Oversee procurement strategies including tactical purchasing, sourcing of direct and indirect materials and services, and supplier/category strategy development

- Inventory management across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Material cost productivity including Purchase Price Variance (PPV)
- Inventory metrics such as turns and Days on Hand (DOH)

Enterprise Planning & Demand Ownership
End-to-end ownership of:
- Demand planning and forecasting (market-driven and historical trend analysis)

Develop high-quality demand signals by:

- Upgrade and enhance core online planning systems
- Architect planning systems and processes from scratch where required
- Build an internally connected supply chain linking:
- Manufacturing operations
- Fabrication facilities (FABs)
- Distribution and fulfillment networks
- Design scalable systems capable of supporting production volumes in the millions of microprocessing chips
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps for enterprise planning
- Implement modern planning platforms, automation, AI/ML, and advanced analytics
- Drive ERP-integrated planning transformation and legacy system modernization

Manufacturing Expansion & Capacity Planning
- Support significant manufacturing footprint expansion, including new plant builds
- Assess how plant expansion impacts future capacity planning and supply constraints
- Develop factory start plans aligned with enterprise demand
- Enable scenario modeling to optimize factory efficiency and investment decisions
- Align planning outputs with long-term financial and operational strategy
Leadership & Organizational Development
- Lead and develop a team of 10–30+ professionals, including senior managers
- Operate as a “leader of leaders,” developing strong sub-leaders
- Define future skill requirements for modern planning organizations
- Establish structured approaches for upskilling and capability transformation
- Drive modernization of processes, governance, and DevSecOps capabilities
