The APP will independently manage consultations, conduct rounds, write orders, consent patients for surgery and procedures, discharge patients, participate in multidisciplinary rounds, and assist in the OR. Park Nicollet Bariatric Surgery Center, which is accredited by the American College of Surgeons, is seeking a full-time Bariatric APC to join its collaborative team of Bariatric Surgeons, Bariatricians, Physician Assistants, experienced Bariatric Nurse Clinicians, Dietitians, Psychologists, Physical Therapists and great support staff.

Duties will include medical weight management of the non-surgical patients, pre-op medical screening, post operative follow-up for vertical sleeve gastrectomy, roux?en-y gastric bypass, and duodenal switch. Ideal candidate will have post-graduate clinical experience, including obesity medicine / weight management. This will be a hybrid position that is heavy on remote work.

The pediatric cardiac providers at MaineHealth provide the full spectrum of care for patients with congenital heart disease in Maine and beyond. This individual will be an integral member of a dynamic team that supports the only congenital cardiac surgical program in Northern New England with the pre-operative, intraoperative and post-operative management of patients with congenital heart disease.
