Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Lead Subsystems Structural AnalysisEngineer to join our Air Dominance Team supporting Aircraft Subsystems in Berkeley, MO.

Boeing Defense Systems Air Dominance Team is responsible for production & sustainment of the F-15 Eagle & F/A-18 Super Hornet. As a Lead Subsystems Structural Analysis Engineer, the selected candidate will have accountability for the structural integrity of the F-15 & F/A-18 Fuel, Hydraulic, & ECS subsystems.

Team members will work with cross-functional teams including representatives from Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials & Processes, Fatigue, Loads, Dynamics, Liaison Engineering, Technical Integration, Supplier Management, Production Operations, Systems Safety, and Program Management. The candidate must be able to provide technical direction to teammates on structural analysis and effectively communicate with cross functional team members.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Guide product design and verifies structural integrity by using and developing analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance

  • Construct & review Environmental Control Systems (ECS) aircraft subsystem analysis

  • Construct & review Fuel, Hydraulic, & Secondary Power, aircraft subsystems analysis

  • Work within NASTRAN/ PATRAN/ Hypermesh, & Mechanica Finite Element Analysis applications

  • Work within 2D drawing & 3D model based design definition

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences)

  • 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience

  • Experience with Fuel, Hydraulic, & ECS aircraft subsystems strength analysis

  • Experience with fatigue & fracture analysis

Hackensack Meridian Health Carrier Clinic’s East Mountain Youth Lodge provides a continuum of out of home residential treatment services for adolescents between the ages of 13-18. We provide 24 hour clinical, therapeutic treatment for emotional, behavioral, psychiatric and substance abuse difficulties based on the resident strengths and needs.


Responsibilties:

1. Directly supervises and knows the whereabouts of every resident they are assigned. 2. Supervises, observes, and participates with residents in the carrying out of the daily routine (i.e. chores). Consistently implements all program procedures (i.e. point systems, level systems).

3. Runs activity, support and recreation groups with guidance from clinical staff. Organizes, supervises and conducts planned activities for groups and individuals. Provides assistance to residents in the planning of appropriate recreational activities.

4. Serves as a primary counselor for an assigned number of residents.

5. Assists residents in learning home management skills (cooking, cleaning, etc). Teaches residents about the importance of cleanliness, good nutrition, meal planning, prudent buying, etc., while guiding them in learning skill mastery.

6. Corrects client behavior by administering reasonable and fair disciplinary measures when necessary. Ensures each resident is informed of the rules and regulations of the program.

7. Provides crisis intervention to residents as needed. Assists in escorts and personal restraints of agitated residents. Attentive to building security and performs such checks as designed by the program.

8. Conducts resident room checks and room searches as designed by the program.

9. Carries a beeper for one week in rotation. Is on-call and ready to respond to staff shortages by calling and locating a replacement and/or filling the shift him/herself.

10. Inspects and handles belongings and valuables of residents to ensure that prohibited material is not brought into the Lodge at admission, upon return from pass, or as clinically indicated, under the direction of a Shift Leader.

11. Assists residents with daily living activities (i.e.; waking up, hygiene, cleaning room, participating in structure, behaving appropriately on activity).

12. Provides input to administration members regarding unit-based PI measures based on concerns, high risk, high volume issues.

13. Ensures that paperwork is completed accurately and within procedural time limits. 14. Other duties and/or projects as assigned.

15. Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.


Qualifications:

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Co-Occurring (Wolf), RTC (Eagle, Butterfly) Will have one of the following qualifications: (1) High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs with one year of experience working with youth in a group setting. (2) An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in a field that is unrelated to social work or psychology with six months of experience working with youth in a group setting. (3) An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work, psychology, or a related field.
  • PCH (Lotus, Sunflower) Bachelor's Degree or High School diploma, general equivalency diploma (GED), and/or GED equivalent programs, with three or more years of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting
  • IRTS Level of Care (Swan) Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent, with one year of experience providing direct care to youth in a behavioral health agency or institutional setting.

The Langham, Boston is one of the city’s most historic hotels and one of the most iconic luxury hotels in the US. You will be assisting to lead a passionate & talented Food & Beverage team to drive excellence in guest experience and the overall success of the Banquets, Langham Club Lounge, and colleague cafeteria food service, by delivering high standards in guest experience & colleague engagement in alignment with the culture and values of Langham Hospitality Group.


Key Responsibilities:

  • To oversee all aspects of banquet food preparation, ensuring adherence to standardized recipes.
  • Create and maintain a standardized recipe book, plate guides, and allergen sheet for existing written menus.
  • Organize, oversee, and participate in the plating of food for service, ensuring compliance with established plating and presentation criteria.
  • Guarantee food quality and ensure readiness for service at the appropriate time, following Banquet Event Order (BEO) standards.
  • Control costs effectively by managing food purchasing and maintaining food cost goals, while monitoring labor levels.
  • Responsible for developing the banquet team through regular feedback, coaching, and skill-building opportunities, while managing the disciplinary process in alignment with company policies.
  • Attend and participate in daily BEO meetings.
  • Organize and manage all aspects of banquet production, including but not limited to daily prep lists, tagging speed carts with BEOs, and daily distribution and change logs.
  • Collaborate with Banquet Management to conduct pre-event walk-throughs, ensuring rooms are set up to standard and ready for use.
  • Oversee the employee cafeteria, ensuring proper cooking methods and product quality while adhering to food safety criteria.
  • Manage menu development and execution for the Langham Club, working closely with the Executive Chef.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with both internal and external customers to meet guest needs.
  • Possess knowledge of local health rules, regulations, and food handling requirements.
  • Maintain safety and sanitation standards throughout the department, adhering to all sustainability procedures (Connect).
  • Supportive functions: 50% - Staff Engagement & Production, 15% - Administrative Work, 20% - Quality Assurance, 15% - Menu Development.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with menu development, costing, and BEO distribution. Advanced knowledge of culinary technique and application.
  • Ability to adapt to changing demands as related to a banquet kitchen, two years of Banquet Kitchen experience preferred.
  • Degree in Culinary Arts preferred, 3 to 5 years’ experience in a 4-5 star hotel or independent restaurant in a kitchen management role.
  • ServSafe certification.
  • Able to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs. as needed. Able to work long hours plus the ability to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States.


Salary Range:

  • $90,000 - $100,000 annually
