As a Cost Engineer you will:

• Conduct analysis of designs, drawings, proposals, scopes of work, and/or specifications to determine cost projections.

• Participate in design charrette workshops as the lead estimator.

• Develop comparative cost/constructability/availability analysis for alternative design scenarios.

• Develops detailed comprehensive cost estimates for complex military facilities to arrive at the project’s selected plan while maintaining cost control.

• Coordinates complex construction cost estimates with estimators from other cost disciplines to create the compelte total cost estimate including all construction trades.


A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.64% will be added to the stated salary

Job Overview:

This is a challenging opportunity that involves complete assembly, disassembly, test set up, adjustment, and inspection of aircraft engines and major components in accordance with assembly, test or engineering instructions, specifications, and drawings. You'll do set-up and operate a variety of standard and specialized tools and a variety of balance machines to perform all types of balancing operations.

Schedule & Quality of Life

  7. Make repairs per Discrepant Material Tags (DMT), Material Review Request (MRR), Production Change Orders (PCO), performs necessary rework to ensure installations meet conformity .
  8. Maintain a neat and orderly work area, supports the company 5S Program, and complies with all safety regulations. Use personal protective equipment as required.

  1. Properly collect and dispose of waste fuel, oil, hydraulic fluids, de-icing fluids, and solvent rags .

Position Responsibilities:

  • Perform various duties using hand or power tools, including staking, filing, trimming, sawing, buffing, drilling, sanding, and filling to facilitate assigned tasks. 

  • Sort, count, wrap, unwrap, and clean parts, tools, assemblies, or equipment as required. 

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas by sweeping, cleaning, and picking up materials and parts. 

  • Move, pack, and unpack boxes, materials, parts, tools, and equipment, ensuring proper handling and storage. 

  • Apply identification numbers or letters (part marks) to parts, materials, or assemblies using various marking methods (e.g., steel, rubber, electro-etch). 

  • Rack and unrack tubes and materials, applying dust caps and seals, and verifying configuration discrepancies against samples. 

  • Assist higher classification employees with mechanical and paint duties, including filling pots, moving lifts, and setting up/removing painting equipment. 

  • Maintain surveillance in paint and assembly areas, ensuring safety procedures are followed and assisting incapacitated employees as needed. 

  • Perform masking processes, including applying masking tape and protective materials to parts in preparation for painting or plating operations. 

  • Finish contoured and flat surfaces to required specifications using abrasive materials prior to and after painting, including hand touch-ups. 

  • Clean and service paint spray application equipment, including tanks, brushes, and hoses, after use. 

  • Review Work Orders (WOs) and drawings to determine work requirements and obtain necessary tools and specifications using online computing equipment. 

  • Operate and maintain the video jet marking machine, ensuring proper fluid levels and cleanliness of heads. 

  • Assist in the anodizing process by loading and unloading detail parts on/off the load bar and performing low-pressure tests on tubing. 

  • Count, load, and protective wrap finished production parts for shipment to the next operation, and log completed jobs into the Decac MRM system. 

Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:

  • Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs. 

  • Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting. 

  • Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants. 

  • Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards. 

  • Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions. 

  • Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.  

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience using basic math (e.g. addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)

  2. Experience with and/or a familiarity with pressure gages.
  3. Demonstrated ability to perform basic shop math, including working with decimals and fractions.

The Role: Make an Impact

The Key Account Management Intern will support responsibilities across sales, marketing, and data analytics to help drive performance at key high-growth e-Commerce retailers. This role will develop a Microsoft Excel dashboard to analyze sales and promotional performance, as well as conduct a content optimization audit across pure-player e-commerce accounts. The intern will collaborate closely with the E-Commerce Pure-Player Key Account Manager and the Omnichannel Marketing and Operations Team to ensure alignment with the company's goals and values. The Key Account Management Intern will report to the Manager, Customer Business - E-Commerce.


From your EXPERTISE to ours

Key responsibilities for this position include:


Primary Project: Build a sales dashboard for Fresh Direct that provides an overview of sales and promotional performance at a Universal Product Code (UPC) level to help strengthen field sales planning and execution.

  • Develop a dashboard that uploads data from the Fresh Direct Insights Hub and then generates key charts and graphs outlining UPC sales and promotional performance across the category.
  • Prepare key findings within the following categories: high/low performing products, gaps in assortment, promotional formatting and optimization recommendations to share with the Revenue Growth Management team and the Omnichannel Marketing team.
  • Document these findings, and be prepared to attend meetings with Fresh Direct, alongside the Sales Manager, where you will be asked to present your key findings and recommendations.
  • Present the dashboard, from data upload through chart/graph generation, your findings, and key recommendations to the leadership team at summer's end.

Secondary Project: Conduct a full-scale audit of content on Amazon Fresh and Fresh Direct (manual for Fresh Direct; with Dataweave support for Amazon).

  • Perform basic audit of portfolio and identify any gaps and recommend any optimizations across carousels, product titles, bullet points, and other content areas.
  • Identify top-performing brands/products at retailer using Unify, and then analyze product detail pages, and translate insights into actionable recommendations for our own listings.
  • Develop a framework for tracking post-internship results, including suggested KPIs and timelines for expected performance lifts.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the leadership team at summer's end.
