The Echo Technologist will provide care to patients across all ages and will be responsible for performing pediatric echocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE), and carotid ultrasounds independently. The role involves an on-call schedule, requiring availability for 10 days a month.

- Conduct pediatric echocardiograms and transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE).

- Perform carotid ultrasound examinations.

- Work independently and effectively manage on-call requirements.

/n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n

- Certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS).

- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
/n
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography.

Requirements

- Active NM RN license or Compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred

- No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Fingerprinting required for all candidates working in New Mexico (process may take several weeks)
