Job Description
Our client is seeking an Employment Associate Attorney to join the highly regarded Employment Group in their Boston office. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a nationally recognized Employment practice and take on a role in sophisticated matters from day one. The employment practice group services major global corporations and financial institutions across employment-related issues in the United States and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Advise clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including compliance, workplace policies, employee relations, and risk management.
- Handle employment-related disputes, including litigation and arbitration matters.
- Draft and negotiate employment agreements, separation agreements, and restrictive covenant agreements.
- Provide strategic counseling in connection with corporate transactions, including employment diligence and related advisory work.
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, and other legal documents.
- Collaborate closely with partners and other practice groups to deliver practical, business-focused solutions.
Qualifications:
- JD (2019–2022) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in Massachusetts (or eligibility for prompt admission).
- Experience in labor and employment law required. Open to candidates with transactional experience as well.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple sophisticated matters and maintain direct client contact.
