Job Description
- Support attorneys on plaintiff-side wage-and-hour and consumer class action matters in state and federal court
- Meet with attorneys, clients, and other professionals regarding assigned cases and projects
- Draft legal documents and assist with filing motions and pleadings following court procedures
- Interview clients and witnesses and prepare clear summaries of statements
- Organize, maintain, store, and retrieve case files including pleadings, exhibits, depositions, and evidence

We are seeking a Lead Space Survivability/Radiation Effects Engineer to support natural and man-made radiation environment-related tasks at the piecepart, unit, and system levels through all satellite program phases in El Segundo, California.
The successful candidate will interface with all technical disciplines in a team environment to trade factors such as survivability, cost, weight, and technical risk in arriving at the final design.
Primary Responsibilities: Lead total ionizing dose (TID) and single event effects (SEE) part and technology characterization and qualification efforts, including in-house laser SEE testing as well as heavy-ion and proton beam testing at national laboratory facilities.
Interface with program office representatives and system engineers representing other disciplines to ensure that radiation-related concerns are adequately addressed.
Develop and flow appropriate unit and system level requirements in early program stages.
Ensure that unit and system level designs appropriately consider radiation-related effects such as total dose (to include ELDRS and dose rate effects), displacement damage, single event effects, internal charging, IEMP, SGEMP, and TREE.
Perform and document unit and vehicle level analyses.
Plan and conduct testing at the piecepart, unit, and vehicle levels to support design and verify compliance with radiation-related requirements.
Interface with personnel at various radiation test facilities across the country to advocate for required test time.

Boeing Engineering & Technology Innovation (E&TI) is looking for a high performing, collaborative Electromagnetic Effects Research Engineer/Physicist to join our team in Tukwila, WA. This role will provide EME/Systems engineering leadership to the Subsonic Flight Demonstrator (SFD) program.

Position Responsibilities
* Lead Subsonic Flight Demonstrator (SFD) EME Systems Integration through program milestones
* Provide executive level briefings and progress reports
* Communicate and coordinate with Boeing Commercial Aircraft teams (EME, Systems Integration, Structures, …)
* Develop and validate electromagnetic requirements for electrical/electronic systems, mechanical systems, fuel systems, interconnects and structures
* Optimize design solution options and create tools to enable inform design decisions
* Collaborate with multiple disciplines in developing architectures to integrate components into higher level systems and platforms
* Support SFD project management by coordinating the development of work statements, schedule, and budget.
* Develop proposals to support development of new business
* Champion Systems Engineering, Model Based Systems Engineering, and Multi-Disciplinary Analysis and Optimization development and deployment on the SFD program
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
* Airplane level Systems Integration experience
* Experience with directing engineering teams for the definition and execution of work
* Willing to Travel Domestically and internationally as needed
* Expert Technical Understanding in EME, Physics, Composite Structures, or Aerospace Systems Engineering
Preferred Qualifications
* 8+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
* Advanced degree in physics, electrical engineering, or aerospace
* Airplane level Systems Integration Leadership experience
* Experience with Model Based System Engineering tools applied to Aerospace platforms
* Program leadership experience demonstrating systems integration expertise in EME
* Excellent communication skills able to interact with executive leadership to brief plans and accomplishments

The Boeing Electromagnetic Effects (E3) Group seeks Electromagnetic Effects Design and Analysis Engineers at Associate (Level 2), Experienced (Level 3), and Expert (Level 4) levels. The successful candidate will be based in the Puget Sound region (Washington State) and support Boeing Defense, Space & Security commercial-derivative aircraft programs such as the U.S. E-7A and the KC-46A tanker, among others.
The engineer will develop and validate Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) requirements and architectures to integrate complex components and subsystems into higher-level platforms. Responsibilities include defining and conducting tests to validate designs to requirements, and providing EMI/EMC expertise during design, modification, supplier engagement, and manufacturing activities.
E3 environments include: Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Lightning, High Intensity Radiated Fields (HIRF), Precipitation Static (P-static), Nuclear Electromagnetic Pulse (EMP), and related environments.
Primary responsibilities:
* Perform trade studies, modeling, simulation, and other analyses to predict component, interconnect, and system performance and to optimize designs for E3 performance.
* Work (with minimal direction at higher levels) to achieve electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) of electronics, wiring, and structure.
* Interface with manufacturing and suppliers on complex E3 design aspects to assure system-level compatibility; identify and report achievements and issues to program management and customers.
* Review supplier test plans and test reports for technical correctness; identify deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions.
* Support project management by contributing to development of work statements, budgets, schedules, and design/review inputs.
* Collaborate with other engineering disciplines and suppliers to assess changes to equipment, determine impacts on electromagnetic characteristics, and recommend mitigations.
Additional responsibilities (as applicable by level and assignment):
* Develop and implement test automation for aircraft modifications.
* Apply EMI engineering methods to document and resolve complex technical problems.
* Apply conversion, correction, and antenna factors to EMI/EMC analyses and tests.
* Participate on cross-functional teams and present technical results in internal and external reviews.
* Process engineering data into tables, graphs, and deliverables for inclusion in reports.
* Support or conduct aircraft-level E3 testing.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

* Foundation in RF systems and/or computational E3 analysis tools.
