Hinge Health is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to join the legal team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated legal ops professional to join the market leader of Digital Health MSK services at a critical phase of the company's growth. The position offers the opportunity to work with a best-in-class Legal Ops function and a dedicated, talented and welcoming group of legal and compliance professionals.
As part of the Legal Ops team, the Legal Operations Manager will manage Legal and Compliance team operations by creating, managing, and improving processes for the efficient delivery of legal services by the Legal and Compliance team to stakeholders throughout the company. Duties will include managing strategic and high visibility projects, improving the use of legal technologies, improving workflows, developing process documentation and training. This position will also work cross-functionally across business teams and collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders to maximize the efficiency of the Legal team, create and execute plans to improve Legal Ops functionality and impact, and scale processes to support our Legal team and enterprise goals.
What You'll Accomplish
- Work cross-functionally in project managing key company-wide initiatives driven by our team, building and tracking project features, milestones, and dependencies
- Create processes and templates to organize projects, legal advice and document business processes
- Provide ongoing assistance to various legal functions, including product, commercial, employment and compliance, including managing administration of the companyβs patent program
- Build, manage and improve legal self-service and knowledge management resources
- Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the legal teamβs performance and efficiency; create and maintain dashboards and reports to provide leadership with insights into legal spend and operational trends
- Lead the selection, implementation, and management of legal technology solutions, including AI, e-billing, and ticketing systems
- Oversee the entire outside counsel and legal vendor management lifecycle, including onboarding, billing, and performance tracking; manage and administer the legal team's billing platform
- Develop and manage the legal department's annual budget and forecasting processes in collaboration with Finance

Basic Qualifications
- B.A. or B.S. degree and legal operations management experience
- 2-3+ years experience in the areas of legal operations or project management, in-house or at a law firm preferred
- Able to develop project plans and timelines, align key stakeholders and drive project completion
- Experience breaking down processes and identifying key pain points to support business improvements
- Able to prioritize effectively and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Detail-oriented, well-organized, and able to prioritize multiple high-importance activities, driving results
- Exercise sound judgment, learn quickly and work well under time pressures
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with a healthcare technology company
- Able to provide executive-level project management
- Proactive, resourceful and able to function independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent oral and written communication, research, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Able to cover a wide range and level of tasks - from thinking strategically to troubleshooting detail where needed
- Desire and aptitude for learning new concepts on the job and taking on new responsibilities
- Previous experience managing IP programs

Compensation
This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. Please note the annual salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. The annual salary range for this position is $118,400 - $177,600.

Overview
Weβre hiring our first Head of Finance to own Ivoβs financial engine end-to-end. This role will build and lead our finance function, with responsibility for full oversight of Ivoβs financial landscape, including budgeting, planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic financial oversight. This leader will determine the right long-term operating model for finance at Ivo, including, over time, standing up an in-house team (with support from our fractional CFO team).
Key Responsibilities
- Build & Lead the Finance Function
- Establish core financial processes, controls, and reporting frameworks appropriate for a rapidly scaling AI company.
- Hire, manage, and develop finance talent (FP&A, accounting, revenue operations, or other roles as the company scales).
- Support the CEO and the leadership team through key operational and financial decisions.
- Evaluate Ivoβs current financial tech stack and our fractional model and determine the optimal mix of internal vs. external finance resources over the next 12β24 months.
- Budgeting, Planning & Forecasting
- Own the annual planning cycle and develop a coherent financial plan aligned with company strategy.
- Partner with department heads to build and manage budgets, track spend, and forecast outcomes with accuracy and accountability.
- Create rolling forecasts and scenario models to inform decision-making (e.g., hiring, GTM expansion, pricing, R&D allocation).
- Board, Investor & Executive Reporting
- Deliver crisp, recurring financial reporting to the CEO, exec team, and Board as needed, including dashboards, commentary, and insights.
- Lead preparation of board materials, including revenue performance, cost structure analysis, hiring plans, and financial outlooks.
- Provide proactive insights on business performance, risks, and opportunities as part of leadership and strategic decision-making by the CEO and leadership team.
- Headcount & Hiring Planning
- Partner with People Operations and team leads to develop headcount plans aligned with financial targets and hiring velocity.
- Monitor compensation budgets, bonus and commission planning and calculations, hiring costs, and organizational structure to ensure efficient scaling.
- Ensure hiring plans are closely connected with revenue, runway, and Ivoβs key metrics.
- Operational Finance & Compliance
- Oversee accounting, month-end close, audit preparation, tax compliance, and cash management (whether executed internally or through external partners).
- Implement systems and automation that improve reporting accuracy, financial controls, and data visibility.
- Manage and own the accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring we are managing these functions appropriately as a team.
What You Bring
- 7β12+ years of experience at in-house finance teams, ideally with a mix of FP&A, strategic finance, and operating roles in SaaS companies.
- Experience building finance functions from scratch in high-growth startups.
- Strong command of key SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, payback, gross margin, cohort analysis, etc.) and how to operationalize them.
- Ability to work closely with executives and department leads across operations, marketing, GTM and product / engineering, while maintaining independence and financial discipline.
- Excellent modeling, forecasting, and presentation skills.
- Pragmatism: you know when to be scrappy and when to introduce structure.
