Under the general direction of the SVP Head of Infrastructure, the IT Operations Manager is responsible for providing leadership and hands-on support for company-wide production operation initiatives. This position emphasizes understanding of critical production and support operations, anticipating the future direction of the Information Technology industry and relating those changes to current IT Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee 24x7 production support teams for and affiliates, user technical support, and production job schedules
- Assist in the management of policy development and technology planning
- Evaluate user needs and system functionality to confirm that systems meet the needs of individuals and projects
- Develops, builds, and sustains a strong working relationship and partnership with IS Customers. Accountable for quality of services and solutions delivered

Requirements:

- Reads email each day scheduled to work and follows through with assignment.

Quality Control
- Consistently produces high quality images including appropriate collimation, shielding, technique selection, penetration and positioning.
- Ensures that equipment is fully operational prior to each use, by checking for proper calibration and operating deficiencies.
- Sends all studies to PACS; prints CDs as necessary. All exams are complete in RIS including image oriented, marked, labeled, and notes are accurate.
- Studies that have been transmitted after hours by teleradiography are printed and scanned into PACS, if applicable.
- Checks for prior exams and assures that they are loaded, if necessary, and properly labeled prior to sending to PACS.
Operations
- Restocks linens and supplies, and maintains Diagnostic Imaging Services in clean and orderly condition.
- Transports patients, positions patients, and helps them on and off procedure table.
- Performs patient charging activities on the day the service is rendered.
- Applies shielding, supportive and immobilization devices and equipment.
- Willingly lends knowledge and assistance to others upon request as needed and routinely as time is available, without prompting, so that all working time is used for departmental advantage.
- Performs routine duties of clerical and support personnel in accordance with procedure when warranted to ensure continuity and quality of services.
- Keeps supervisor informed on all responsibilities on an ongoing basis, ensuring prompt notification in the event of problems or potential problems.

Primary Responsibilities: Set up and operate surgical technologies to provide technical equipment guidance as needed to surgeons and staff before and during surgery Perform preoperative checklists, sterilization, equipment calibrations, and complete necessary documentation Load and transport surgical technologies to healthcare facilities. Driving is an everyday responsibility of this role with occasional overnight travel Practice safe vehicle operations, safe workplace practices, and laser safety techniques Meet customer needs, provide exceptional customer service, and foster strong, professional relationships with both ForTec team members and healthcare partners

About the Role
The Technology Intern will develop a technically rigorous understanding of cable and broadband infrastructure, network architecture, and the security, fraud, and content protection challenges that shape real-world policy discussions. This role is ideal for an engineering-minded student eager to see how technical realities influence regulatory frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Review and organize technical reference materials related to broadband infrastructure and network security
- Update and simplify infrastructure diagrams and explainers for internal use
- Explore datasets and technical resources to identify trends and system constraints
- Map high-level network risk and abuse touchpoints across cybersecurity, anti-fraud, and anti-piracy areas
- Attend NIST and FCC webinars and hearings and prepare summary notes
- Collaborate with policy-focused teams to explore how engineering tradeoffs intersect with regulatory frameworks

- Foundational knowledge in engineering, computer science, or network systems
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a systems-thinking mindset
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, high-level explanations
- Comfort working with technical materials, datasets, and infrastructure concepts
