Role:
The Technical Product Manager, Functional AI, will lead the definition and delivery of AI solutions that transform our core business functions, including Finance, HR, Legal, Marketing, and others. Qualifications:

The Automation Controls Engineer is integral to the design, commissioning, and continued support of automated assembly and test equipment. - Determine and implement continuous improvement plans for the equipment, and overall department.
- Manage yearly budget for the department ensure goals are met by reducing cost related to production and MRO supplies.
- Establish working relationships with associated departments i.e. Planning, Engineering and Production.
- Establish and maintain effective communication vehicles such as toolbox meetings and employee meetings.
- Understands, communicates and follows all company policies, work rules, and Union Contract. Effectively utilizes this knowledge to analyze and resolve work problems, assist workers in solving work problems, and make daily decisions on production schedules and personnel-related matters that affect the delivery and quality.
It is the expectation of the company that Managers/Supervisors will accomplish these goals by working to a high ethical standard and consistently complies with all company policies, work rules, Union Contractual agreements, and applicable laws with little to no direct supervision.
Requirements:
- BSME Degree required, an advanced engineering degree is preferred.
- ASQ CMQ/QE or equivalent preferred.
- 5+ Years of Manufacturing within the Automotive Industry is highly desired. ; Eight (8) to ten (10) years of Quality Management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in Lean Manufacturing, Project Management, ISO and TS16949 procedures experience is desired.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work required. Excellent time management skills required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing required.
- Ability to think critically and creatively in high stress situations.
- Willingness & ability to travel as necessary.

The Tooling Specialist's primary responsibility is steel tooling accompanied with any and all work required or assigned to ensure that a smooth flow of production is maintained.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description – other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.
- Alter and repair a variety of carbide and steel production tools and dies, involving blanking, piercing, forming, and cut-off dies, etc., where design and specifications are usually available.
- Work from prints, sketches, specifications, and general instructions of the departmental foreman or group leader.
- Must be able to interpret simple prints, relating to design and product specifications and/or the general verbal instructions of department supervisor.
- Under direction of section group leader and supervision, modify ordinary design features to improvise or alter tooling to meet new conditions.
- Maintain accurate relationships, fittings and interchangeability of parts requiring tolerances to within .001 inches to meet all specified drawing requirements consistently on all types of tools, dies, jigs or fixtures.
- Recognize, and report for correction, blueprint errors such as improper radii, angles, dimensions, materials, and similar data which would prevent economical production.
- Disassemble and repair or alter tooling to meet specific requirements.
- Remove removable sections, fit, assemble, and adjust component parts and mechanisms to required accuracy to unsure satisfactory results.
- Ability to properly use all tool room measuring tools and gages to ensure part accuracy of all work performed.
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow standard safety regulations.
- Detect faulty operation or defective material and refer all unusual conditions to superior.
- Record production, material, and time data.
- Perform other similar and associated duties as required or directed.

Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years related experience or 1 year experience plus machine shop/metals trade vocational/technical high school.
- Firm understanding of all machine shop mathematics including shop formulas and possess trigonometry and geometry math skills.
- Working knowledge of machine shop and die repair practice, principles of mechanics, machine tool operation, working qualities of materials.
- Understanding of basic principles and terminology and can solve simple problems related to standard basic manual tool room equipment.
- Ability to work from complicated drawings or sketches and use all types of precision measuring instruments.
