Overview
We are seeking a driven and technically minded Sales Representative - Packaging Solutions to lead the growth of our premium power rental refurbishment packages, custom-engineered solutions, and controls upgrades. Supporting the Caterpillar Dealer Power Rental network nationwide, this role is responsible for developing trusted relationships and delivering value-added solutions that enhance performance, extend equipment life, and meet evolving customer needs. Basic Duties
- Develop and grow sales of power rental refurbishment packages, custom generator solutions, and controls upgrade offerings across the Caterpillar Power Rental network nationwide.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for rental dealers, collaborating closely to understand needs, propose solutions, and close sales.
- Conduct site visits, fleet evaluations, and technical discovery to identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, repackaging, or performance enhancements.
- Work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and product support teams to scope projects, develop proposals, and ensure accurate execution of customer requirements.
- Prepare and present technical sales proposals, pricing, and project timelines tailored to customer objectives.
- Track and manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation through post-sale support and follow-up.

Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in technical sales, preferably in power generation, rental equipment, or industrial solutions.
- Knowledge of generator sets, control systems, and power packaging is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar power products and the power rental industry is a plus.
- Proven ability to build relationships and close consultative sales in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to manage a wide geographic territory and travel as needed.

• Performs rework/re-inspection of components/finished goods with minimal conversation and focus on product defects.
• Performs various housekeeping duties such as sweeping/mopping floor, cleaning equipment, fixtures, windows, and walls as needed.
• Perform minor adjustment on the equipment and documents work performed.
• Participates in training of new employees.
• Adheres to all applicable procedures, cGMP’s, company policies, and all other quality or regulatory requirements (OSHA, DEA, FDA, EMEA, ANVISA, HS&E, etc.).
• Ensures all work is performed in a safe, effective manner, and in compliance with the appropriate industry and regulatory (FDA, DEA, OSHA) standards, and Departmental, Plant, and Corporate quality and safety Behaviors.
Note: This position may require the labeling, packaging or movement of hazardous (flammable, corrosive, toxic, etc.) waste within the facility. If so, employee requires training under OSHA’s HAZWOPER standard, 29 CFR 1910.120 as an 8-Hour first responder, 24-Hour incident commander, or a 40-Hour incident commander.
In lieu of HAZWOPER training, the employee will receive training on the requirements of the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act pursuant to 40 CFR 265.16.
All employees that have received the above-mentioned training upon hire will receive annual refresher training that covers the OSHA HAZWOPER standard and the requirements of RCRA.

• Solid English reading/comprehension written and verbal communication skills required to understand and communicate to others detailed cGMPs, SOP's, FI’s, and production equipment cleaning instructions

• Participate in Safety Program by complying with all and preventive measures (i.e., wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Alerts Supervision, Mechanics, Quality personnel to safety, quality and equipment performance problems when they occur.

Focuses on production, quality and people. Identifies, investigates and works to solve problems that arise. Works closely with department employees and reports any issues to Ricotta Packaging Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.1.\tAssists operators in set up and start of packaging.2.\tInsures performance of quality control checks. 3.\tVerifies code information on all cups, boxes, packages and pallet labels.4.\tCompletes and maintains appropriate paperwork/reports.5.\tVerifies operator logs each hour with signature.6.\tPerforms seal checks on each line each half-hour.7.\tTours entire room on a half-hour basis. 8.\tMonitors product giveaway at check weighers and address any issues with the machine operator.9.\tAssures that proper product sampling is complete and taken to the laboratory in a timely manner. 10.\tReviews metal detection logs, addresses any issues that arise. 11.\tChecks cooling spiral temperatures, spiral speeds, and before and after cooling temperatures.12.\tEnsures sufficient manpower is scheduled for next day's activities. Makes adjustments if necessary.13.\tEnsure that there are sufficient supplies (hoods, arm sleeves, and gloves) for the day.14.\tMaintains employee records including attendance, and write-ups as needed. 15.\tMaintains an open line of communication with all employees in Ricotta Packaging department.16.\tIdentifies, investigates and works to solve any problems that arise in the department.

Key Responsibilities:

- Proficiency with PLCs, HMIs, pneumatics, and electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge of serialization and barcode systems.
- Demonstrated experience working with servo and PLC-driven machinery.

- Forklift operation experience preferred.
