RESPONSIBILITIES


SUMMARY Provides executive leadership for Jeffco Public Schools' comprehensive school safety, security, and emergency management enterprise. Develops and oversees the district's school safety strategy, integrating prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery across 168 campuses over 774 square miles and serving approximately 74,000 students and 14,000 employees. Directs a complex, 24/7 Department of School Safety with responsibility for strategic planning, business operations, workforce management, and performance oversight. Uncommon Middle School Math teachers work in grade level teams to help students grow towards being self-guided learners. UT Tyler is a nationally recognized Bronchiectasis and NTM Center and an integral member of the Bronchiectasis and NTM Care Center Network, as designated by the Bronchiectasis and NTM Association and the COPD Foundation.

This position is ideally suited for a board-certified or board-eligible physician in Pulmonary Critical Care or Infectious Diseases with a strong clinical and/or research background in NTM diseases. The selected candidate will serve as the Clinical Director of the UT Tyler NTM Center for Innovation and provide outpatient consultation for patients with NTM and bronchiectasis. This role offers the opportunity to lead and shape a multidisciplinary program focused on advancing diagnosis, treatment, and scientific understanding of NTM infections while delivering outstanding patient care.

Clinical Care:

  • Provide expert consultation and management of patients with NTM diseases, including pulmonary and extrapulmonary infections

Interim Infection Preventionist

The Position

- The Interim Infection Preventionist will be responsible for the oversight of day-to-day infection prevention initiatives throughout the facility.
- The Interim Manager will focus on ongoing departmental initiatives including ensuring a quality environment of care, infection prevention education, and coaching pertaining to hand hygiene and best practices.
- Seeking an experienced Infection Prevention leader who will be equipped to stabilize and maintain infection prevention initiatives throughout the organization.
- Must be available to start within 2-3 weeks of acceptance.

Requirements

- BSN is required.
- Active RN license is required.
- Active CIC certification is required.
- A minimum of three years of related experience is required.

Compensation Details

- Compensation Range: $125,000 to $130,000 annually.
- The final compensation rate will be determined based on experience, education, training, location, internal equity, and budget considerations, in accordance with Fair Market Value evaluation. Additionally, some candidates may be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, depending on the specific role, including but not limited to health insurance coverage and retirement benefits.
- The listed base compensation range represents a good faith estimate of potential earnings at the time of this job posting and may be subject to future adjustments.
