YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The Safety Manager administers project safety programs to maintain a safe and healthy work environment. They may be responsible for one project or multiple small projects. This role would report to a Senior Safety Manager or Regional Safety Director and potentially manage Safety Coordinators and Field Safety Specialists. This subject matter expert will have significant autonomy contributing technical support to make safety-related decisions.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Lead daily audits of all work areas. Provide safety expertise in response to identified deficiencies and requests for safety assistance. Communication with the project team and field leadership is essential.
  • Prepare professional reports, conduct safety briefings, act as company spokesperson for site safety issues, research, and answer site safety questions and concerns.
  • Resolve site safety issues and provide emergency response as needed that arises from sub-contractors, customers, employees, and company managers.
  • Identify gaps and implement safety program elements, as needed, to comply with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Direct comprehensive, in-depth investigations of all injury and loss incidents, identify all causal factors, develop and implement measures to prevent recurrences, and follow up to ensure long-term resolution.
  • Conduct safety training, testing, and record-keeping for all employees, sub-contractors, and where Rosendin is prime, all other persons arriving on site (New Hire Orientation, Equipment Training, Haz Com, Fall Protection, Excavation, Confined Space, Lockout/Tag out, Crane and Rigging, etc.).
  • Act as an advisor to the company management team and customer agencies to ensure safety requirements are identified, communicated to employees, and fulfilled.
  • Manage the assigned project’s safety program budget, planning, acquiring, controlling, and distributing all safety equipment, supplies, and training aids.
  • Develop and review the site safety plan for the project.
  • Contribute to project start-up meetings.
  • Review of the three-week look ahead for the project.
  • Ensure a crisis management plan is implemented for projects and facilities.
  • Ensure clinics/medical facilities are set up, and the project team knows their location.
  • Ensure procedures are followed for LOTO and first-time energization at the project site.

  • Develop and participate in RCAs (root cause analysis) to prevent reoccurring events at projects.

About the Role:

The Project Manager (PM) will be a lead member in our operations team and will drive the delivery of all the various network infrastructure and cabling projects within a particular site. This position will require the individual to have development, management, customer engagement, operational and overall leadership skills.


Key responsibilities will include establishing the program schedule and ensuring the established targets are met regarding schedule, cost, functionality, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.


The role will also include consulting with clients, delivering presentations, resolving project issues, recommendations for new services or enhancements, estimating, proposal writing, project costs management, directing operations on labor requirements, directing/assisting purchasing with bill of materials.


The Project Manager is responsible for the entire successful execution of a project. Their primary responsibilities are to plan, direct, coordinate, and budget activities concerned with the construction of their project. The Project Manager shall also participate and at times lead the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, estimating, scheduling, and implementation.


What You’ll Do:

  • The project manager is accountable for effective project management and delivery of their projects.
  • The PM will work with the extended site team to develop the program schedule and establish key milestones for delivery of the program ensuring all financial targets, schedule targets are met in alignment to the customers’ goals.
  • The PM will identify and acquire all resources required by revising as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
  • During the pre-construction phase, continuously evaluate the materials and products being proposed for constructability and feasibility. Oversee and at times prepare the cost estimate at multiple stages. Initiate and coordinate the design efforts and the value engineering processes.
  • Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.

*Job Requirements*

* Must have graduated with a Master's degree of equivalent in Speech-language pathology from an accredited school and have a valid speech-language pathologist state license in good standing (based on state specific requirements). It is the responsibility of the employee to maintain active licensing/certifications throughout their time of employment;
* Previous therapy experience is preferred, with some of that experience in a long-term care facility;

  • Keep all kitchen equipment and prep/serving areas clean and organized.
