Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Integration Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT/OT Infrastructure Integration Engineer to support the planning, implementation, and execution of infrastructure for a new manufacturing site. This is a hands-on, technical execution role—not a managerial position.

In this capacity, you will serve as a technical integrator, ensuring seamless alignment across infrastructure domains including networking, servers, cybersecurity, automation, validation, and cloud integration. The role spans both manufacturing operations and corporate office environments, requiring deep expertise across IT/OT architectures in regulated settings.

The ideal candidate brings proven, real-world experience delivering infrastructure solutions within GxP-regulated manufacturing environments, with the ability to operate effectively across on-premises, hybrid, and segmented IT/OT ecosystems. This role requires ownership from strategic planning through hands-on implementation, technical support, and ongoing infrastructure evolution.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight and quality assurance for IT/OT infrastructure deployment, including networks, servers, storage, backup, disaster recovery, and segmentation
• Review and validate High-Level and Low-Level Designs (HLD/LLD)
• Ensure alignment with Purdue Model segmentation, zero-trust architecture, and regulatory compliance standards
• Coordinate cross-functional dependencies with Automation, MES, LIMS, SCADA, and laboratory systems teams
• Support integration between on-premises infrastructure and enterprise/cloud environments (Azure hybrid)
• Validate configuration standards, system hardening baselines, and network segmentation controls

Technical Skills & Expertise

The Director, Applications & Integrations will lead and actively manage enterprise business applications across a decentralized, multi-business unit environment.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role. The Director is responsible for day-to-day application performance, support, enhancements, integrations, and team execution. While the role includes leadership of a 14-person team, it is not purely strategic. The right candidate will be technically credible, comfortable reviewing architecture, troubleshooting issues, guiding solution design, and stepping into complex problems when needed.

The environment is currently steady state, with the expectation of building stronger governance, modernization, and long-term application strategy over time. This role partners closely with ERP stakeholders and enterprise systems teams while maintaining ownership of the broader application landscape.

Key Responsibilities

Application Ownership & Delivery

• Own performance, stability, and continuous improvement of enterprise business applications across multiple business units.
• Oversee application support, enhancements, and lifecycle management.
• Ensure service levels, uptime, and user experience meet business expectations.
• Serve as escalation point for complex technical issues.
• Review and approve solution design, integrations, and configuration changes.
• Maintain visibility into application architecture and technical debt.

Technical Leadership

• Provide hands-on guidance in ERP configuration, integration design, data flows, and reporting architecture.
• Evaluate new tools, platforms, and technologies for business fit and scalability.
• Ensure sound documentation, change management, and release processes.
• Partner with infrastructure, security, and data teams to ensure alignment.
• Support ERP initiatives and ensure downstream application alignment and integration readiness.

Team Leadership & Accountability

• Lead and develop a 14-person applications team.

Process & Governance

Business Partnership

• Work directly with segment leaders and functional stakeholders to understand operational needs.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise application management
• Experience leading multi-person application teams, preferably 10+ direct reports
• Strong understanding of ERP systems, financial systems, operational platforms, and integrations
• Experience working in decentralized or multi-entity environments
• Proven ability to balance steady-state support with forward-looking improvements
• Strong troubleshooting and architectural review capabilities
• Comfortable operating in a practical, execution-focused environment

The Role

The Integration Manager will play a critical role in the successful delivery of complex data center projects. This individual will be responsible for coordinating the integration of technical infrastructure systems and ensuring they are delivered, tested, and operational in line with project milestones.

Working closely with clients, contractors, and internal teams, the Integration Manager ensures all systems and stakeholders are aligned from early project phases through to handover and operational readiness.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Infrastructure Coordination

• Lead coordination and delivery of key technical infrastructure systems across data center projects.
• Oversee integration of multiple systems including telecoms, security, facility networks, and operational platforms.
• Track and report on delivery status across critical technical scopes.

Project Delivery & Milestones

• Coordinate execution of project activities against Early Access (EA) and other key milestones.
• Support delivery across the full project lifecycle, including design, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Identify integration risks early and ensure mitigation strategies are implemented.

Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a key interface between the client, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Lead coordination meetings and provide clear updates on progress, risks, and project impacts.
• Ensure information flows effectively between all parties involved in project delivery.

Systems & Scope Oversight

Manage the planning and delivery status of key infrastructure components including:

• Furniture, Fixtures & Equipment (FF&E)
• Audio Visual (AV)
• Radio over IP (ROIP)
• Telecom and internal/external facility networks
• Physical and electronic security systems
• Corporate network infrastructure (CorpNet / WLAN)
• CMMS, PMS and BMS platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years’ experience in a similar integration, technical program, or project delivery role.
• Proven experience delivering large-scale, complex data center or mission-critical projects.
• Strong understanding of MEP and/or CSA disciplines within critical facilities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, track milestones, and drive project execution.

Preferred

• Experience working client-side or with major general contractors.
• Exposure to international data center projects or multi-region programs.

• Lead the technical team to design, develop, test, and deliver Integrated Health Management (IHM) and System Health models using Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Cost (RAMC) tools and best practices.
