The Machine Operator will be responsible for all operational activities related to safety, product safety, line efficiency, performance and ingredient usage of the assigned production line.
From your EXPERTISE to ours
Key responsibilities for this position include:
- Responsible for personal and personnel safety for the assign production line and make recommendations for improvements to supervision.
- Responsible for the product quality of the assigned line, to include ensuring that all components used in the process match our Stonyfield standard (correct white mass, fruit dosing flavor injection, cups, lids, cup code, box code)
- Responsible for monitoring the weight control, line checks, changeovers, start up, shutdown and other process at the line.
- Responsible to ensure Stonyfield products are aligned with specification, making adjustments when needed and reporting any deviations to maintenance and supervision.
- Responsible for ensuring the housekeeping, General Manufacturing Practice compliance, and respect for the zoning for the assigned production line.
- Responsible to ensure all containers used in the production process have proper labels to be in compliance
- Responsible for the Clean in Place (CIP) of the assigned production line, ensuring high level of sanitation is performed and working to stay within CIP expected timeframe allotted for the assigned line.
- Responsible to ensure operator control sheets have accurate information related to the fruit and flavor consumption for each SKU run.
- Being able to deal with changes in the work environment, being an active contributor to positive changes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities: Install, disassemble, repair, assemble, test, and maintain machine tools, process buildings, and overhead handling equipment, including stationary generator sets at the Kent and Bellevue Data Centers.
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on stationary generator sets and other equipment.
Ensure compliance with SHEA regulations while performing all tasks.
Guide and mentor lower-classification employees in maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, modification, adjustment, and testing of machines and equipment.
Utilize schematics, blueprints, specifications, manuals, and applicable procedures to complete work assignments effectively.
Develop assembly methods when procedures are not available, documenting these methods for future reference.
Hand scrape, flake, lap, level, and align equipment components as needed.
Use precision devices for failure analysis and apply preventive/predictive technologies to machine and equipment systems.
Perform operational tests on machine tools and building equipment to ensure functionality.
Maintain logs, charts, and records, preparing reports and schedules as required.
Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance inspections to ensure equipment reliability.
Collaborate with other crafts to accomplish tasks and assist as needed.
Perform incidental rigging to facilitate work tasks.
Carry out work in other classifications when necessary to complete assignments.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards: Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights ranging from 10-15 lbs to 15-35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite.
The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications : 3 years' experience as a CNC machine repair mechanic, manufacturing building systems mechanic, or general equipment repair mechanic, (IE Pump repairs, ship repairs, large farming equipment or military equipment).
Willing to work at heights up to 125 feet above ground level and pass Fall Protection Training.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience testing and diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical components, and test equipment.
Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, material processes, schematic and diagrams.
Ability to work around electromagnetic fields because of various types of production equipment.
