The MaintenanceTechnician (RT) is a technical wage position that plans, organizes, directs, and performs electronic/electrical and mechanical maintenance to maximize production while assuring product quality standards are met at the assigned facility. These positions require working rotating shifts in a 24 hour manufacturing operation.
Qualifications: Associates Degree in EET, MET, Mechatronics, or similar curriculum OR 3 to 5 years experience in Industrial Maintenance OR Military Experience in a maintenance discipline.
Responsibilities:
- Follows all Safety rules and regulations for a safe work environment
- Coordinates and participates in PMs
- Establishes machine repair priorities.
- Inputs and manages data for the maintenance management database
- Understands and troubleshoots machinery in assigned areas of the Manufacturing process.
- Interfaces with all related functions (ie. Production, Quality, Engineering, Support).
- Performs Lockout/Tagout procedures whenever working on equipment.
- Responsible for timely technical progression to achieve job level expectations.
- Appreciates the impact of his/her maintenance repairs on quality, uniformity, and productivity.
- Performs repairs and/or PMs knowing that they have a direct bearing on tire uniformity and quality.

Michelin has an immediate opening for a Safety Professional who will provide support and direction to meet the site's safety, health, and environment objectives. This role is critical in crafting and maintaining a safe environment for our employees and communities. Located in Woodburn, Indiana, our BF Goodrich tire plant produces passenger and light truck tires, contributing to the cultural and economic vitality of northeastern Indiana. What Will You Do
- Responds to and coordinates all emergency responses in the plant
- Provides mentorship and direction to Contract Security Services and the Emergency Response Team
- Assists departments in investigating incidents to determine causes and devise preventative measures to minimize recurrence. Assists in preparing incident reports when needed
- Assists in developing and reviewing safety training programs and provides training when requested
- Monitors overall safety of plant operations, including contractors, and provides advice and assistance to line management
- Monitors weather and provides information to plant management on any situation that may affect plant safety or operations
- Monitors and corrects contractor activities to ensure compliance with all safety programs and regulations
- Coordinates hot work and confined space programs
- Monitors all aspects of the fire system, including the alarm system, to ensure it is maintained in working order
- Performs audiometric testing, vision screening, and respirator fit testing as requested
What Will You Bring
- A willingness to work in an industrial plant environment on a rotating 2-2-3, 12-hour shift
- HS diploma or equivalent experience; an Associate's degree in Safety or Emergency Medical Procedures is preferred
- First Aid/CPR or EMR certification required; must complete EMT certification within the first 12 months on the job
- Self-motivated with the ability to work effectively and efficiently under pressure while managing competing demands and tight deadlines
- Cooperative teammate who willingly supports others and collaborates to solve problems

ASRC Electrical Troubleshooter Responsibilties:
-Safely maintain plant electrical power distribution including transformers, switch gears, panels and associated wiring. Troubleshoot and repair all plant electrical systems
such as balers, robots, conveyors, etc.
-Must be able to troubleshoot and repair components such as motors, starters, PLCs, etc.
-Compliance to all safety requirements is a must, such as LOTO and PPE equipment
- Effectiveness of all interventions (prevent breakdowns, cure the default within an optimized time, solutions to deal with recurring defects / problems...)
- Efficiency of all interventions (resources used, consumption of spare parts)
- Documented interventions and quality of the encoding
- Maintenance plans carried out and compliant (transformers, protective devices, substation visits, thermographic analyzes, ...)
Required Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years of age
- Applicant must have a High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
And one or more of the following:
- 2-3 years' experience in a relevant maintenance position
- Associates degree relevant to the open maintenance position

This role offers a balance of technical design and industrial competencies, with dynamic levels of responsibilities. WHAT WILL YOU DO
Co-develop tire models with a world-wide collaborative team to define the manufacturing specifications that meet performance targets while accounting for industrial standards and constraints.
Identify and manage the risks for meeting the quality, timing, and cost targets of the industrialization project.
Conduct root cause analysis and develops action to resolve manufacturing and design issues.
Provide technical support to the factory, throughout the tire's life cycle (startup to end-of-life), to ensure design longevity.
Continuously improve the tire design process through the creation and deployment of new/updated tools and work methods.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
Must be willing/able to travel (10-20% per year) to Greenville, South Carolina for initial training and scheduled in-person workshops.
MaterialSciences, Chemical Engineer, B.S. in Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent product design, testing, start-up, or production experience is preferred.
Success in working with other people or team to meet a common objective with minimal supervision.
Effective problem-solving skills to analyze, find the root cause, and implement solutions to eliminate/reduce the risk of the problem happening again.
The ability to interact/communicate in a professional manner with external partners, suppliers, customers, and colleagues.
Ability to see and take small measurements (1 mm on a ruler or 0.1 mm on a loop) to validate the tire design in the finished tire.
Experience in working in multiple computer systems/applications. (CAD - Computer Aided Drawing applications is a plus.)

THE OPPORTUNITY
Supports the Site Safety Initiatives in the implementation of the Security and Emergency Response policies at the site. Guarantees the function of the Security installations on the site. Participates in the organization of Prevention, Protection and Security Intervention (access control, surveillance, intrusion, Security incidents).
WHAT YOU WILL DO
* Prevention/Protection:Ensure that security provisions are permanently operational to guarantee risk control on site (checks, tests, equipment controls, rounds, etc.). Apply, respect and enforce the instructions, (internal regulations, security instructions, management of access and keys, control of people, "luggage" and vehicles, ...). Carry out and document the PP (Fire and Safety) rounds. Verify, test and control the installations, equipment and means. Carry out the verification plans and control plans for which he/she is responsible. Implement, for the Security part, the EP3 process (Operational Control and Emergency Plan) within the framework of the SMEP. Ensure that all provisions are respected to prevent and contain security risks. Contribute to the capitalization of experience by participating in analysis of all safety-related events that have occurred on the site. Monitor and operate the alarm centralization boards. Implement temporary arrangements when required. Apply "Logistics" instructions to carriers (weighing, sealing, transport documents, etc.)
* Intervention: Intervene in case of intrusion alarm, incident, disaster or malicious act. Apply pre-established instructions or orders given in case of unforeseen circumstances. Use reflex sheets in the event of an event. Evaluate an event situation and report accordingly. Alert the Site Safety Manager and those responsible to any serious anomaly or any situation of persistent risk and apply the necessary emergency measures, including first aid. Conduct PP operational interventions (reception/transmission of alarms, emergency calls, etc.)
* Information / Communication: Ensure the reception (physical or telephone) according to the rules of the Management Staff. Inform any newcomer (or incoming) to the applicable site security rules. Reception and transmission of telephone calls. Write the handrail and anomaly reports. Provide information on Fire and Safety indicators, monitor progress and guarantee quality.
