Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Oracle CPQ Architect to lead and oversee Oracle CPQ implementations, ensuring alignment with business requirements and best practices. This role involves collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy CPQ solutions that streamline the sales process, improve efficiency, and maximize profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the design of Oracle CPQ solutions, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Technical Leadership: Act as the Oracle CPQ subject matter expert, guiding the development team and providing mentorship to junior staff.
  • Configuration & Customization: Configure and customize Oracle CPQ modules, including workflow design, pricing rules, quote templates, and catalog setup.
  • Integration Management: Design and implement integrations between Oracle CPQ and other enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM and other relevant tools.
  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Work with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate them into technical requirements, and develop appropriate solutions.
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Oversee testing processes, including unit, integration, and user acceptance testing, to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.
  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain documentation of CPQ processes and provide training to end-users as necessary.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate and enhance CPQ processes regularly to improve user experience, functionality, and scalability.


Mandatory Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years working with Oracle CPQ, with hands-on experience in architecture, implementation, and integration with enterprise systems.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as BML, JavaScript, or Groovy.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Proven experience in large-scale Oracle CPQ deployments across multiple regions.
  • Strong knowledge of CPQ capabilities and complex pricing rules.
  • Experience integrating Oracle CPQ with CRM and ERP systems, ideally Oracle ERP Cloud.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and with offshore teams.


Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of EBS R12 Configurator
  • Knowledge of CDL rules
  • Integration from EBS to CPQ for BOM and Rules


Academic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education plus relevant experience.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Applications Consulting Director to join our team. As a Consulting Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading pre-sales activities and driving successful implementations of Oracle Cloud HCM Applications for our Clients. You will work closely with our Clients to understand their unique business needs, provide expert guidance, and oversee the delivery of high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop and execute pre-sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Engage with prospective Clients to understand their business needs and challenges.
  • Create compelling proposals, presentations, and demonstrations to showcase our expertise and solutions.
  • Provide guidance and expertise during the pre-sales process to help secure new business.
  • Client Delivery:
    • Lead and oversee Oracle Cloud HCM Applications consulting projects, ensuring successful execution from initiation to closure.
    • Manage project teams, including consultants, analysts, and technical experts.
    • Develop and maintain strong Client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
    • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
    • Identify opportunities for additional services and upsell to existing clients.
  • Practice Development:
    • Ensure the practice has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver solutions to the market; anticipate product and technology requirements and drive training the team to meet future demand.
    • Ensure team adheres to appropriate methodologies, consistently utilizes Oracle best practices to accomplish assigned work product and complies to all project standards.
    • Lead internal program development and implementation that contributes to the practice effectiveness.
    • Create practice hiring and training plans to support the practice strategy considering future demand, current team skills, and availability.
    • Oversee recruiting, interviewing, hiring and on-boarding effort for area of responsibility.
    • Ensure orientation of new employees to Oracle policies, processes, and resources to maximize retention and new hire success.
    • Assist and encourage consulting team to develop intellectual capital, reusable assets, and new strategies within the domain expertise.
  • Thought Leadership:
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, Oracle Cloud HCM Applications updates, and best practices.
    • Share knowledge and insights with the team and clients through thought leadership content and presentations.

Qualifications:

  • At least 15+ years of Implementation / Support experience in working with Oracle Applications.
  • At least 3 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience working with a professional services company or a consulting firm.
  • Proven experience in pre-sales, consulting, and client delivery, with a focus on Oracle Cloud HCM Applications.
  • Strong understanding of financial processes, including accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Oracle Cloud certification(s) is a plus.
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed.
